About the Flat, Motionless Earth Itself

Sadlup, thanks for the heads up. I think there are plenty of questions to still be addressed. I was called a "dufus" by my neighbor for saying the earth was flat. She loves me and apologized but maybe the lack of questions here are because the topic is so absurd to most , it doesn't even merit discussing!" The first difficulty you'll have with me is I've been up high enough and the earth looked round to me. I wasn't expecting it and it was quite surprising to see.
Secondly if I'm hearing you correctly; you doubt the existence of other planets? Studying the heavens as a clock has provided me with an understanding how the planets travel. I can sometimes predict when they are going to be where as they interact with the Sun,
Thirdly the moon is obviously a sphere or at least a half dome pointed towards us. This can be seen by the curvature of the shadow.
Fourthly how do satellites stay up? I watch them travel across the night sky.
Think of me as the guy who catches his wife with another man. And she responds; "Are you going to believe me or your lying eyes?"
Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood since the earth was founded? He sits enthroned above **THE CIRCLE OF THE EARTH**, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. (Isaiah 40:21-22)

I think to try and answer another members question, sorry I forgot your name. ...He made mention what does this have to do with salvation and the gospel..well, all I can say is , it may have a bearing on WHO God is ..has the world redefined him much like satan who questioned God's word with the first sentence in the bible?
