What does Jesus say?
Posted : 17 Jul, 2019 09:14 PM

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Matthew 7

Better get this comment in before the FLOOD of copy and paste comes in!

Matthew 7:23 you workers of lawlessness.

Sadlup, that is an interesting verse in Matt 7:23. Kind of scary for those that have **FAITH** in living in lawlessness though! Ouch!

Its interchangable with the word "inquity" which is defined in the Strongs as illegality, violation of LAW, wickedness, trangressor, unLAWful or without LAW! Basically its the wicked that break Yah's LAW! Wow!

So who does the perfect LAW of Yah apply too?

**BUT WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD SAY**??

1 Timothy 1:9,10 "Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

10. For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine."

Oh so a righteous man the LAW is **NOT** made for! Now that makes sense when Prophetic7744 keeps posting Galatians 3:23-25!

"Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW!!"

BECAUSE we are no longer "**UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW**" when we are **NOT** breaking it! For the righteous man is **NOT** under its **SUPERVISION** now!

Thanks Prophetic7744 for finally helping us to see the truth in that verse! If you would of just discussed it with us, then it would of been easier to understand. But thanks anyway, we figured it out.

I'm sure you will be posting it again soon! We look forward to it!

}**WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD SAY ABOUT WHAT **THE WILL OF THE FATHER IS** IN THE NEW TESTAMENT**??

There are many who quote the following 2 Scriptures about doing the *WILL OF THE FATHER**:

Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the **WILL OF MY FATHER** who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)

Matthew 12:50: Jesus says, Whoever does the **WILL OF MY FATHER** in heaven is My brother and sister and mother!"

But then they never tell us what the **WILL OF THE FATHER IS** in the New Testament or they quote a lot of old Testament words by the Father.

**WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD SAY ABOUT WHAT **THE WILL OF THE FATHER IS** in the New Testament.

John 14:39,40: Jesus says And this is the **WILL OF HIM** who sent Me, that I shall **LOSE NONE** of all those He has given, Me, but raise them up at the Last Day. For My *FATHER'S WILL* is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise then up at the Last Day!"

Acts 22:24:15: Ananias said to Paul, "The God of our ancestors has **CHOSEN YOU** to **KNOW HIS WILL** and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from His mouth. You will be His witness to all people of what you have seen and heard.

Acts 26:16-18: The Lord Jesus said to Paul, Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you and **APPOINTED YOU** as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of Me I am sending you to the Gentiles to open their eyes and turn then from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they my receive **FORGIVENESS OF SINS** and a place among those who **SANCTIFIED BY FAITH IN ME**!"

Acts 915: The Lord said to Ananias, "This man {PAUL} is **MY CHOSEN INSTRUMENT**to proclaim My name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel!"

Acts 20:27: Paul said, "For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the **WHOLE WILL OF GOD**!"

Ephesians 1:3-10: Praise be to the God and Father of our **LORD** Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing **IN CHRIST** In love He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with **HIS PLEASURE AND WILL**--to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has **FREELY** given us in the One He loves, In Him we have **REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, the **FORGIVENESS OF SINS**, in accordance of the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us will all wisdom, He made known to us the mystery of **HIS WILL** according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth **UNDER CHRIST**!

Ephesians 1:20-23: The Father raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be the **HEAD OVER EVERYTHING FOR THE CHURCH**, which is **HIS BODY**, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every Way!!

Matthew 28:18-20: The Lord Jesus says, "**ALL AUTHORITY** in heaven and on earth has been given to **ME**. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to **OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU**. And surely I am with you Always!"

Hebrews 10:7-10: The Lord Jesus said, "I have come to do **YOUR WILL** My God. Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire, nor were You pleased with them--though they were offered in accordance of the law. Then Jesus said, "Here I am, I have come to do **YOUR WILL**!" Jesus set aside the first Covenant to establish the second Covenant. And by that **WILL*, we have been made holy **THROUGH THE SACRIFICE OF THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST ONCE FOR ALL**!

John 3:16-18: For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to **SAVE** the world **THROUGH HIM**! Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's **ONE AND ONLY SON**!!

I John 2:1-5: We have an Advocate with the Father--Jesus Christ the Righteous One. He is the **ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SIN**, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. We know we have com to know Him *IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDS**. Whoever says, "I know Him," but does not do what He commands is a **LIAR**, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone **OBEYS HIS WORD**. God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in Him!!

John 14:21,23: Jesus says, "Whoever has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father... Anyone who loves Me will **OBEY MY TEACHING**, My Father will love them, and We will come to them and make our home with them!"

John 14:6,7: Jesus says, "I an the **WAY** the **TRUTH** and the **LIFE**. No one comes to the Father **EXCEPT THROUGH ME**! If you really knew Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have **SEEN HIM**!!"

Thank you Teddyhug!

It is so nice to have a conversation with someone about a verse rather than being pelted with verse after verse with no discussion!

Here is Galatians 3:23-24 in fr the Jewish Bible:

"Now before the time for this trusting faithfulness came, we were imprisoned in subjection to the system which results from perverting the Torah into legalism, kept under guard until this yet-to-come trusting faithfulness would be revealed. 24 Accordingly, the Torah functioned as a custodian until the Messiah came, so that we might be declared righteous on the ground of trusting and being faithful."

Notice:

We are freed from "system which results from perverting the Torah into legalism". In other words we are free from the Pharisaical Oral Torah and are now free to keep Torah through Faith.

Poor prophetic7744 has been deceived into thinking there is no longer any Law whatsoever when Jesus (and even Paul) taught the right way to keep God's instructions on how to best live.

Forgive me for stating what seems to me to be the Obvious, and no, you may not call me "Captain Obvious" LOL ...

If you're behind the wheel and you "follow" all the rules and regulations and traffic laws because you agree with them and even have a few "rules" of your own that you follow for safety's sake that aren't in the "law books", aren't you "free from the law", even though the law exists?

The word "Repent" doesn't mean to feel bad for sins committed, it means "a change of mind" or if you prefer, "a shift in perception".

For example, if stealing from the purse of an unconscious elderly woman and just leaving her there when she could be in need of medical attention, is simply not something that you would EVER even THINK of doing, then it is that state of mind that we need to shift to with regards to ALL of God's Laws.

In other words, if God's Laws become your laws as well, then they don't "apply" to you in the sense that they become irrelevant. They are there as a road-map, if you will, to guide the "unrighteous" to righteousness.

I could have simply quoted Matthew 9:11, 12, or Mark 2:16, 17, or Luke 5:30 - 32 but sometime the journey helps define the destination.

Philiokalia,

I agree with you on everything except one point:

It is not that "obvious" to a lot of people.

Why would God give us instructions on the best way to have life then turn around and say we free from following them?

Yet that's what many believe.

Actually *SAD*lup your extremely Satanic teachings are not believed by any of the born again Christian believers in this **CHRISTIAN**forum! Your Jewish doctrines would be gladly accepted on any Jewish Forum but are completely obnoxious in a **CHRISTIAN** forum. My posts are loaded with God's Word which exposes all of **SAD**lup's Satanic teachings such as:

***That our great God and Savior Jesus Christ **IS NOT GOD** and His blood DOES MAKE ATONEMENT FOR OUR SINS**!!

*** That Jesus did not change any OT Laws.

*** None of Paul's books are inspired by God which is about **HALF OF THE NEW TESTAMENT!!

**That we are saved by **GOOD WORKS** including keeping all of the OT Laws.

WOW!! **SAD**LUP ALSO DOESN'T BELIEVE IN ETERNAL TORMENT IN HELL FOR THE LOST UNBELIEVER**???

**SAD*LUP MAKES THE RIDICULOUS CLAIM THAT OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST IS NOT GOD AND NEVER CHANGED EVEN ONE OT LAW**??

**BUT WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD SAY**??

**HOWEVER**: **JESUS MADE MANY AMAZING AND TOUGHER CHANGES TO OLD TESTAMENT MARRIAGE, ADULTERY AND DIVORCE LAWS ***THAT WERE **MUCH MORE LAWLESS*** THAN THE **NEW LAWS** OF OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST**!!

Matthew 5:27,28: Jesus says, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already **COMMITTED ADULTERY** with her in his heart."{This sin is never even mentioned in the Old Testament!}

**THIS SIN OF ADULTERY WOULD INCLUDE PICTURES OR VIDEOS OF A WOMAN ON TELEVISION OR THE INTERNET OR IN PORNOGRAPHY**!!

Jesus also eliminated the OT capital punishment for the sin of adultery when he told the Pharisees who were about to stone to death a woman who committed adultery when Jesus said: "He that is without sin among you cast the first stone!!" {As per John 8:7!!}

Leviticus 20:1,10: The Lord said to Moses..... If a man commits adultery with another man's wife --with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress **MUST BE PUT TO DEATH**!" {OT LAW ELIMINATED!!}

Matthew 19::3-9: Some Pharisees came to Jesus to test Him. They asked, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?" "Haven't you read," Jesus replied, "That at the beginning the Creator made them male and female' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefor what God has joined together, let no one separate." Why then the Pharisees asked, did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?" Jesus replied, "MOSES PERMITTED YOU TO DIVORCE YOUR WIVES BECAUSE **YOUR HEARTS WERE HARD**, but it was not this way from the beginning. But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery!!!"

In the Old Testament you could divorce your wife for almost any reason by just giving her a certificate of divorce as per Deuteronomy 24:1,3.

Actually it is almost impossible in the New Testament to divorce your wife if she is a believer, since Jesus also said in Matthew 18:22 that you should forgive your brother or wife not 7 times but 77 times which can also be translated 7 times 70 times!!

And according to I Corinthians 7:12-15 you can only divorce an unbelieving wife **IF SHE LEAVES YOU* even though you have been a good husband.

I Corinthians 7:12,13,15: If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, **HE MUST NOT DIVORCE HER**. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, **SHE MUST NOT DIVORCE HIM**!... But if an unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances. God has called us to live in peace!

THIS COMPLETELY CHANGES OT LAWS ON DIVORCE**!!

In the Old Testament King David had 8 wives and Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines without any penalty??? But in the New Testament you can have only **ONE WIFE**!!As per I Corinthians 7:2; ! Timothy 3:2,12 and Titus 1:6.

**THIS COMPLETELY CHANGED OT MARRIAGE LAWS**!!

In the OT rich people like Solomon could also afford to have **MANY CONCUBINES** which they could have sex with, without any penalty???

2 Samuel 5:13 - "After he left Hebron, David took more **CONCUBINES** and wives in Jerusalem, and more sons and daughters were born to him."

**THESE WOULD BE TERRIBLE SINS UNDER THE NEW COVENANT OF JESUS CHRIST, OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR**!!

The Satanic Mormons are the only Christian Denomination that practice the evil NT sin of Polygamy and even they believe that having **CONCUBINES** is a very evil sin !!

Ladies and Gentlemen:

If you read closely you'll see Jesus did no such thing. Jesus didn't argue the Law. Rather he said go ahead; he who is without sin, go first. Jesus didn't change the Law but advocated mercy over judgment because we ALL require God's mercy and therefore should give it to others.

Prophetic7744 says:

Because "In the Old Testament King David had 8 wives and Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines...." That Jesus changed the Law on marriage.

Ladies and Gentlemen;

What does the Torah teach about David and Solomon taking many wives?

"He shall not multiply wives for himself, or else his heart will turn away"

- Deuteronomy 17:17

If the Law already taught not to take many wives how is it someone can assert Jesus changed the Law on marriage?

Prophetic7744

Writes:

"Your Jewish doctrines would be gladly accepted on any Jewish Forum but are completely obnoxious in a **CHRISTIAN** forum."

Ladies and Gentlemen;

Is this true?

Find out for yourselves - go on YouTube and look in the comment section of "Rabbi" Moshe Shulman. Look for "The 10th man" and you'll see how accepted I am. I would give you Jewish forum sites to go to, but I have been banned by them long ago.

Prophetic 7744 teaches the same heresy that Jesus, his disciples and brothers taught to avoid.

We are not free to live our lives however we want and expect God to accept us just because we said a sinners prayer and confessed Jesus is Lord. We must live it!

Prophetic7744 says;

"Jesus also eliminated the OT capital punishment for the sin of adultery when he told the Pharisees who were about to stone to death a woman who committed adultery when Jesus said: "He that is without sin among you cast the first stone!!" {As per John 8:7!!}"

**SAD**lupo's ridiculous reply:

If you read closely you'll see Jesus did no such thing. Jesus didn't argue the Law. Rather he said go ahead; he who is without sin, go first. Jesus didn't change the Law but advocated mercy over judgment because we ALL require God's mercy and therefore should give it to others.

Leviticus 20:1,10: The Lord said to Moses..... If a man commits adultery with another man's wife --with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress **MUST BE PUT TO DEATH**!" {Even though any executioner must be guilty of some sin!!}

And therefore Jesus completely eliminated the above OT Law in Leviticus 20:1,10 above!!

Prophetic7744 says:

Because "In the Old Testament King David had 8 wives and Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines...." That Jesus changed the Law on marriage.

Then **SAD**lup said.

What does the Torah teach about David and Solomon taking many wives?

"He shall not multiply wives for himself, or else his heart will turn away" - Deuteronomy 17:17

Then **SAD**lup said:

If the Law already taught not to take many wives how is it someone can assert Jesus changed the Law on marriage?

However taking **CONCUBINES FOR SEX IS SIN** is never mentioned in the OT and there was no penalty for David having 8 wives and concubines and Solomon who had 700 wives and 300 concubines. Whereas any man having more than 1 wife or a **CONCUBINE** would be booted out of any good NT church and would also face many civil charges!!

Whereas David was a man after God's own heart who wrote all the Psalms and God inspired Solomon to write Proverbs and build His Temple.

And so the NT laws and penalties for polygamy and having Concubines was completely different from the OT practices!!
