As the Holy Spirit brings conviction, we begin to feel innner discomfort and guilt. Although we are still God's children, our disobedience distrupts our fellowship with Him. Post Reply

God knows if you are sincere or not. And remember God is the ONLY one who can forgive you for eternity, not a priest or minister. They are only men and if you believe they have God's forgiveness, you are mistaken. That is false teaching. Go to the One who knows your heart. God. Post Reply

Why did you even bring it up? Since YOU brought it up; Please post one Scripture where it says you must believe in a "Trinity" to be saved. - You can't do it because such a Scripture doesn't exist! - So many Protestants claiming Sola Scriptura yet unwittingly regurgitating Catholic doctrine. 😖 Post Reply

The difference is I Study Scripture, you think Scripture is like a magic eight ball. 3) It is obvious from our interactions that I am more studied on these topics than you. This doesn't make me better than you, just more studied, in fact probably more studied than your Pastor. You are the one exhibiting cultish behavior. Whereas I just want to discuss the truth. 4) Cupcake, the point is and always has been with you: You follow the teachings of men more than the teachings of Christ, then have the audacity to call yourself a Chistian. So let's gist back to your Topic "Confession" This is an important topic for you because you follow Paul. Yet you don't follow the real Jewish Paul but the reinterpretated Gentile Paul. Nevertheless, saying a believers prayer or making "confession" is not without worth but it alone doesn't save unless backed up by action. If it is not backed up by action it devalues the confession. This is the kind of thing Christ taught and this is the kind of thing "Christians" should be living out. Cupcake; I suggest you call yourself a Paulineite rather than a Christian since you follow the Gentilized teachings of a Paul rather than the teachings of Christ. Post Reply
