There's no longer a separation between Him and us; instead of enemies, we are family. His indwelling Holy Spirit serves as both evidence that we belong to God and assurance of His unending love. Yes, those who trust (place faith) in God’s Word simply believe what God says about everything he speaks about and they believe his promises. They believe, like Abraham did, that God has power to do all that he has promised. They believe God when he speaks authoritatively as an eye-witness to the creation of a perfect universe. They believe God also owns everything because he created all of it. He even has the right to rule humankind because he created them too. God also has the right to judge all disobedience. People who belief and have faith in God believe what he says about his coming wrath and about the eternal punishment in hell that he created People who belief and have faith in God believe he speaks authoritatively about his power to save repentant sinners through the work of Jesus Christ Post Reply

If you want comfort from Him, you must not defile His name before you ask nor after. You must love, admire and crave Him in your life. Then He will listen to your prayers and comfort you if you are truly a Christian. Post Reply

Goes to show how badly I’ve been slipping on my proof reading. Seems all my errors show up SO MUCH more clearly AFTER I press the send button. Looks like I need to reread my posts about 10 times each in order to find and correct all my errors BEFORE I press the send Post Reply
