Jesus said the following: John 15:18-27 King James Version (KJV) 18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. 23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. 25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. Posted : 2 Jan, 2019 04:39 PM One of the most sad of all realities in this world is the fervency of animus generated by unbelievers and false brethren against preaching the gospel. I dare say some of this hostility comes even from those calling themselves true believers. New International Version Gal 2:4 This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. Post Reply

Posted : 2 Jan, 2019 05:08 PM One of the perceivable liabilities associated with preaching the gospel is the necessary duty to expose false teaching opposed to it. False teachers will fervently resist exposure. Just as criminals persecute whistle blowers who expose them so also false teachers those who expose them. Most sad of all is the fact that gullible simple minded people often side with liars against the truth teller, the whistle blower or those exposing false doctrine. Even Moses sufferered such ignominy when he was accused of “killing the Lord’s people” of all things!! He was accused by a bunch of simple minded rebels who were staging an uprise against the leadership rule of God’s anointed Post Reply

Posted : 12 Jan, 2019 06:42 AM Preach the Word” 1 I solemnly charge [you] in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season [and] out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but [wanting] to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. 5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. Where is the Holy Spirit, to lead the people into all truth. Where is the Holy Spirit in the lives of the people to DISCERN truth from error. Most people are afraid to speak up as they know no Bible.
