John 10 verse 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;

Hello everyone:

The truthseeker here, getting people to THINK about what they believe.

Many times when I have heard someone speaking about John 10 verse 10, they always blame Ha-Satan / the devil. Ha-Satan seems to be blamed for all of mans sinfulness, instead of people taking responsibility for what they say and do.

Flip Wilson had a skit in which he would say ' The devil made me do it'. Actually the devil does not make men, women or children say or do anything that is wrong, he responsible for placing the temptation before them they are responsible for their answer to the temptation.

It is easier,but more costly to blame the devil or someone else for my sin, then to take responsibility and trust Messiah with the results.

The thief, is any person that takes the place of Messiah; John 10:8 All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

Within what is known as ' Christianity ' there are many thieves that are stealing, killing and destroying the people

because of their own UNBELIEF towards Messiah and His Word.

Instead of making LEARNERS / disciples of Messiah by teaching the people how to read, study and translate the Word, they take it upon themselves to keep the people ignorant of the truth by offering them a so called message from GOD each time they meet.

Little do the sheeple know that there are no more messages from GOD Almighty, as the entire Word of GOD Almighty is the message He wants His people to have.

There are people calling themselves 'pastors' that use the Word of GOD Almighty for a paycheck, manipulating the sheeple to give money either to become rich, or as a tax write off.

The thief comes to kill, and destroy, How does this happen if people have the Holy Spirit; Will they not be able to discern the motives of the enemy. How about if we ask Eve, and Adam, David and everyone in the Word about how they were deceived at some point.

When a pastor calls people ' A SININER ', are they not calling others a name that not even GOD Almighty calls people. GOD Almighty says that people are SINFUL, that is they have a sinful nature, not a sinner nature.

GOD Almighty calls His people SAINTS, men call them 'sinners'

Colossians 1:1

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

Col 1:2

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.

Col 1:3

We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

Col 1:4

since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints;

In verses 2 and 4 the Holy Spirit empowers Paul to write to the SAINTS in Colosse, not to the 'sinners'. and to have

As long as the people continue to not read the Word for themselves, the people professing themselves to being pastors,will continue to use, abuse, manipulate, and lied to the people in order to keep the people returning to give money for their lifestyles.

Lets stop blaming Ha-Satan / the devil and start taking responsibility for our words and actions.

Lets approach the ones calling themselves ' pastors' and show them in the Word of GOD Almighty where the 'ELDERS' plural have the oversight, not a pastor , singular.

Remember what GOD Almighty says about fear.

Psalm 118:6

The LORD is for me; I will not fear;

What can man do to me?

Isaiah 51:7

Listen to Me, you who know righteousness,

A people in whose heart is My law;

Do not fear the reproach of man,

Nor be dismayed at their revilings.

Matthew 10:24

A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master.

Mat 10:25

It is enough for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign the members of his household!

Mat 10:26

Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

Mat 10:27

What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.

Mat 10:28

Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

**WHAT DO WE DO WHEN WE ARE TEMPTED BY SIN**??

Hebrews 4:14-16: Since we have a High Priest who has ascended into heaven. Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have One who has been **TEMPTED** in every way, just as we are--yet without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need!!

Hebrews 2:18: Because He Himself suffered when He was **TEMPTED**, He is able to help those who are being **TEMPTED**!!

James 1:13-15: When **TEMPTED**, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone, but each person is **TEMPTED** when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin!

I Corinthians 10:13: No **TEMPTATION** has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful, He will not allow you to be **TEMPTED** beyond what you can bear. But when you are **TEMPTED**, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it!

**HOWEVER, WE ARE COMMANDED TO WALK AS JESUS WALKED {SEE JOHN 2:6} AND TO BE HOLY AS GOD IS HOLY, WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE, AND SO WE SIN DAILY. AND WE SHOULD **DAILY** ASK GOD TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND PURIFY US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS**!!

I John 1:8-10: If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned we make Him out to be a liar and His Word is not in us!

The disciples asked Jesus, "Lord teach as to pray." Jesus replied to His disciples, "When you pray, say: '**FATHER**, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our **DAILY** bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us!'"

**IF WE DO NOT ASK THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND REPENT OF OUR SINS GOD WILL DISCIPLINE US**

Revelation 3:19: Jesus says, "Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline, so be earnest and repent!!"

Hebrews 12:5-11: Do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, and He chastens **EVERYONE** He accepts as a son! Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as His children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined--and everyone undergoes discipline--then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in His holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it!

Of course, there is no question that "worship leaders" are not mentioned in scripture. Richard quotes a lot of verses about pastors and such. I have no argument with that. GNWS, as you well know, the problem isn't what scripture says. it is do these individuals who use the titles-pastor, reverend, minister, etc.-do they serve and function the way scripture says they should. When you work for a "church," you are bound by contract and conscience to abide by what that "church" says. I have seen several individuals who were forced out of "churches" because they were not allowed to proclaim the truths of scripture. These were and are good people. To use the terms, they held fundamental and conservative views that were in agreement with evangelical teaching. Their lives were examples for other believers. I remember one brother who said, how can a "church" require something for membership, when we are already accepted in the beloved and seated in the heavens without doing those things.

Yes Montana I agree. The 'church' and its UNBIBLICAL system are not of GOD Almighty, but are ANTICHRIST in its nature and function.

As for Richard, he needs the Holy Spirit to reveal to him the things of Messiah, and the truths within the Word of GOD Almighty.

John 10 verse 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;

**CHRIST HIMSELF APPOINTS ALL NEW COVENANT **PREACHERS/ PASTORS /SHEPHERDS/OVERSEERS**

Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus says, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me! Therefore go **MAKE DISCIPLES** of all nations... **TEACHING THEM** to obey everything I have commanded you!"

Acts 26:16-18: Jesus said to Paul, "I have appeared to you to **APPOINT YOU** as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of Me. I am sending you to the Gentiles **TO OPEN THEIR EYES**, and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Me!"

Ephesians 4:7,11-13,16: To each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it... So Christ Himself {Not the church!} gives some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some to be **PASTORS** and teachers, **TO EQUIP HIS PEOPLE FOR WORKS OF SERVICE**, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God; and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ... From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work!

Romans 10:14,15: How can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone **PREACHING** to them?? And how can anyone **PREACH** unless they are sent? {By Jesus} As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those **WHO BRING GOOD NEWS**!"

I Timothy 4:13,14: Devote yourselves to the public reading of Scripture, to **PREACHING** and to teaching. Do not neglect your **GIFT**!

I Peter 4:10,11: Each of you should use whatever **GIFT** you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who **SPEAKS THE VERY WORDS OF GOD**. If anyone serves they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen!

I Peter 5:1-4: To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ's sufferings who will also share in the glory to be revealed. Be **SHEPHERDS** of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but **EAGER** to serve, not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the **CROWN OF GLORY** that will never fade away.

Acts 20:27,28: For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the **WHOLE WILL OF GOD**! Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you **OVERSEERS**. Be **SHEPHERDS** of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood!

I Timothy 3:1-7: Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever desires to be an **OVERSEER** desire a noble task. Now the **OVERSEER** is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he care for God's church? He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment of the Devil. He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the Devil's trap!

I Corinthians 3:5-9: The Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed. Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be **REWARDED** according to their own labor. For we are **CO-WORKERS** in God's service; you are God's field, God's building!!

Daniel 12:3: Those who impart wisdom will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and **THOSE WHO LEAD MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS**, like the stars for ever and ever!!

I Timothy 5:17: The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is **PREACHING** and teaching!

Timothy 3:16,17; 4:1-3: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for **TEACHING**, REBUKING, CORRECTING AND TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS**, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I give you this charge: **PREACH THE WORD**, be prepared in season and out of season; **CORRECT, REBUKE AND ENCOURAGE--WITH GREAT PATIENCE AND CAREFUL INSTRUCTION**! For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear!

I Peter 1:22-25: Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the Living and Enduring Word of God! For, all people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall. but the **WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER**! And this is the Word that was ***PREACHED*** to you!!
