I've been digging deep into this topic; but there isn't much time left; so forgive me if I don't get this quite right. I'm working off of my memory.

That Moedim is celebrated for two days, by the Jews; because they don't know how to correctly calculate the day; so they celebrate on both to cover their bases.

*Note by comparing Revelation 12:6 and Revelation 12:14 we can know that time {360 days}, times {720 days}, and 1/2 a time {180 days} and 1260 days are the exact same period of time. And by comparing Revelation 13:5 with Daniel 7:25 we know that 42 {30-day} months and 1260 days or time {12 months}, times {24 months} and 1/2 a time {6 months} are also the exact same period of time.

Daniel 9:24: 70 7's are decreed... to **ATONE FOR WICKEDNESS**{After 69 1/2 7's}, **TO BRING IN EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS**{After 70 7's} and **TO ANOINT THE MOST HOLY**{After 69 7's or 483 years!!} The last half of the Last 7 would be the 1260-day Great Tribulation just before the glorious Coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on the Last Day of the 70th 7!!
Luke 3:22,23: When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as He was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on Him {*ANOINTED*} like a dove And a Voice came from heaven: "This is My Son, whom I love, with You I am well pleased!"
Daniel 9:25: Know and understand this. From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed one, the Ruler, comes, there will be 62 7's and 7 7's {Or 69 7's which would be 483 years}
And so the first half of the last 7 was already COMPLETED when Jesus put and END to all sacrifices for sin;1278 days or 3 1/2 years after His Anointing which occurred after 69 7's. When the Anointed One came 69 7's or 483 years were 100% completed [See Dan 9:25 above} leaving just one 7 in the future after the Anointed One comes and then came a 1278-day or 3 1/2 year New Covenant which ended when Jesus put an end to all sacrifices for sin.
It is interesting to note that in Daniel 9:25 it states that 70 7's are decreed *TO ATONE FOR WICKEDNESS* and therefore those who believe in a 7 year future Tribulation DO NO INCLUDE CHRIST'S ATONEMENT FOR SINS IN THE 70 '7s OR 490 YEAR PROPHECY!! since the coming of the Anointed One to earth took place on the last day of the 69 7's!!! or after 483 years!!
Those who wrongly believe in a future 7-year Tribulation; must wrongly believe that the ATONEMENT FOR WICKEDNESS by Jesus about 3 1/2 years after His Anointing can not be included in the 70 7's Prophecy.!!!
Hebrews 10:8-10: First He said, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire, nor were You pleased with them," although the law required them to be made. Then He said, "Here I am, I have come to do Your will." He sets aside the first **TO ESTABLISH THE SECOND**. And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ **ONCE FOR ALL**!!
Hebrews 9:22; 26-28: The law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood **THERE IS NO FORGIVENESS**.... But now He has appeared **ONCE FOR ALL** at the end of the ages to do away with sin **BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF**!! Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people {In the middle of the last 7} He will appear a second time,{On the Last day of the 70th 7} not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him!!
Daniel 9:26,27: The Anointed One will be cut off... He will confirm a Covenant for one seven. In the middle of the seven He will put and an end to sacrifice and offering{And then after a long pause}He will set up an Abomination of Desolation, {For 42 {30-day months or 1260 days} until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. { See Rev 19:20 & 2 Thess 2:8}
Why was the last half of the last 7 years shortened to 1260 days?? Matthew 24:22 Jesyus says, "If those {1278} days had not been cut short, no one would survive,but for the sake of the elect those {1278} days will be shortened!" {To 1260 days or 18 {6+6+6} days}
What then, is the explanation of Matthew 24:15,16??
Matthew 24:15,16: So when you see standing in the **HOLY PLACE** 'the abomination that causes of desolation spoken of through the prophet Daniel {See Daniel 9:27b and Daniel 7:25} let the reader understand--then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
3 1/2 days before the Last Day of the Great Tribulation God will allow the Abomination of Desolation to kill His 2 witnesses {Moses & Elijah} in the *HOLY PLACE** right where our Lord Jesus was crucified in Judea; and then those saints in Judea should flee to the mountains.
Revelation 11:7-11,15,18: Now when they have finished their {1260-day} testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss {Or the Abomination of Desolation} will attack them, and overpower and kill them. {Then let those saints in Judea flee to the mountains as per Matt 24:16} Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city...where their Lord was crucified {The New Holy Place} For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies {On Worldwide TV} and refuse them burial... But after three and half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet ... Then they heard a loud Voice from heaven saying to them , "COME UP HERE" And the went up to heaven in a cloud...The seventh angel sounded his trumpet , and there were loud voices in heaven, which said, "The kingdoms of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign for ever and ever...The time has come for judging the dead and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your saints... and for destroying those who destroy the earth!!"
So then, how do you explain 2 Thessalonians 2:4??
2 Thessalonians 2:4: He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
Revelation 13:15-17: He {the False Prophet of 666} will be given power to give breath to the image of the first beast {666} so that it could speak! and cause all who refused **TO WORSHIP** the image to be killed. He also forced everyone to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark,which is the **NAME OF THE BEAST** or the number of his name.{666}
And when 666 kills God's powerful 2 witnesses in the new **HOLY PLACE** right where their Lord was crucified; he will claim to be God!
666 will also be able to persecute and kill God's saints who are the new **TEMPLE OF GOD**!!
I Corinthians 3:16,17: Don't you know that you yourselves are **GOD'S TEMPLE* and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and **YOU ARE THAT TEMPLE!!
2 Corinthians 6:16: For **WE ARE THE TEMPLE** of the living God!!
Revelation 11:1: "Go and measure the **TEMPLE OF GOD** and count the worshipers there!"
Revelation 7:14,15: These are they who have come out of the Great Tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the **LAMB**. Therefore, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His Temple!!
Matthew 24:3-13: The disciples asked Jesus, "What will be the sign of Your Coming and the end of the age??" Jesus answered: Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name claiming, 'I am the Messiah,' and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it hat you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. Then you will be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of Me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness the love of most will grow cold but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. {Eclipses never mentioned!}
Matthew 24:29-31: Jesus says, "Immediately after the distress of those {1260} days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light and the **STARS WILL FAKLL FROM THE SKY** {Luke 21:28 adds "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near!"} Then will appear the **SIGN** of the Son of Man in heaven. And all the nations of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the 4 winds, from one end of the heavens to the other!" { Mark 13:27: adds "From the ends of the earth!!}
25��And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
26�men�s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

**IS THE BIBLE NEW TEAR ALWAYS FROM SUNDOW MARCH 20TH TO SUNDOWN MARCH 21ST EACH AND EVERY YEAR**?? ARE BIBLE MONTHS ALWAYS 30 DAYS**??
By comparing Rev 12:7b and Rev 12:14b we find that 1260 Days and Time {360 Days} Times {720 Days} and � a Time {180 Days} are the exact same period of time. Likewise, when we compare Rev 13:5b with Daniel 7:25b we learn that 42 {30-day Bible} MONTHS and Time {12 Months}, Times {24 Months} and � a Time {6 Months} are also the exact same period of time. And therefore 42 {30-Day Bible Months} and Time, Times and � a Time are the exact same period of time since 42 X 30 days equal exactly 1260 days. 12 Months = 360 Days = {1 Time} 24 Months = 720 Days = {2 Times} 6 Months = 180 Days = {Half a Time} and 42 Months = 1260 Days = 3 � Times. Whereas, 42 times 29 � -day Babylonian moon months only adds up to 1239 days!
NOTE: A BIBLE MONTH IS ALWAYS 30 DAYS!! The only other text where the Bible specifies the number of days in a month besides Rev 13:5b is Genesis 7:11 & Genesis 8:3,4: Where the 17th day of the 2nd Bible Month {Gen 7:11} to the 17th day of the 7th Bible Month {Gen 8:4} is EXACTLY 150 days which would be exactly five 30-day months {Gen 8:3 & Gen 7:34}. All Bible Years are 12 consecutive 30-day months followed by 5 or 6 days. Pagan Babylonian Moon Months sinfully adopted by Israel during the Babylonian captivity have alternating 29 and 30-day months since there is a New Moon every 29� days. If God was using Babylonian Moon Months in the above passage he would have said that 5 Bible Months were 147 or 148 days and not EXACTLY 150 days!!
If you check your concordances you will find that there are 20 OT passages that are wrongly translated NEW MOON that should be translated NEW MONTH. In each case the INSPIRED Hebrew word for MONTH {CHODESH} is used, whereas the Hebrew word for MOON {YARAYACH} is not present. {See I Sam 20:5,18,24; II Kings 4:23; I Chron 23:31; II Chron 2:4; 8:12; 31:3; Ezra 3:5; Neh 10:33; Ps 81:3; Isa 1:13,14; 66:23 Ezek 45:17; 46:1,3,6; Hosea 2:11 & Amos 8:5} In the NT Col 2:16 should be translated NEW MONTH instead of NEW MOON since the INSPIRED Greek word for MONTH {MEN} is used, whereas the Greek word for MOON {SELENE} cannot be found. In Col 2:16 the Greek word used is NEOMENIA which should be translated NEW MONTH: For �NEOS� is the Greek word for NEW and �MEN� is the Greek word for MONTH.
Numbers 28:16: �On the 14th day of the 1st month the Lord�s Passover is to be held.� Exodus 12:6,7,12,13: �Take care of them {The Passover Lambs} until the 14th day of the month when all the people of Israel must slaughter them {See Lev 23:5} at Twilight {Just after sundown to nightfall}. Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the doorframes of their houses. On that same night I will strike down the firstborn of the Egyptians� but when I see the blood I will PASS OVER you.� Deut 16:1: �Observe the month of ABIB and celebrate the PASS OVER of the Lord your God, because in the month of ABIB He brought you out of Egypt by night.� Lev 23:6: �On the 15th day of that month the Lord's 7-day Feast of Unleavened Bread begins.�
Luke 22:7,8: Then came the day on which the Passover Lamb �Had� to be sacrificed. Jesus said, �Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.� Christ became our Passover Lamb on Passover Day! 1 Cor 5:7: �For Christ our PASSOVER LAMB has been sacrificed.� Whereas the Jews {who were following the evil Babylonian moon calendar} held their Passover on the 15th of Nisan {Which always occurs on the night of a full moon} and observed the Passover on the WRONG DAY as per John 18:28: �Then the Jews led Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman Governor {Pilate}. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness the Jews did not enter the palace; for they wanted to be able to eat the PASSOVER!!� Which would have been the day �AFTER� Jesus correctly held the Passover on the 14th of ABIB which God had commanded.
So we can assume that the month of ABIB is different from the Babylonian moon month of Nisan and therefore has nothing to do with the moon. When does the first month of the Bible Year called ABIB begin?? Many Bible scholars believe that it may begin of the first day of SPRING or sundown March 20th to sundown March 21st. ABIB is the Hebrew word for SPRING. And so the 14th Day of ABIB can also be translated the 14th day of SPRING!!
In May of AD 325 the Council of Nicea decided that starting in April, AD 326 the Resurrection Day of Jesus should be determined by the Babylonian Moon Calendar instead of April 5th, or the 16th day of first Bible month of Abib {See Ex 23:15 & Deut 16:1} The 1st Day of the 1st Bible month of Abib is always sundown Mar 20 to sundown Mar 21. The Nicean Council decided that our Lord's Resurrection Day should be called EASTER beginning in April, AD 326. DICTIONARY DEFINITION OF EASTER: Easter from the old English Eastre, the name of Babylonian Mother Nature goddess: ISHTAR!! The Phoenician name for ISHTAR or EASTER is Ashtoreth or Asherah who was worshipped as a goddess and the female counterpart of the sun god Baal. She was regarded both as the goddess of war and destruction as well as the deity of love and fertility. Her licentious worship was condemned by God {See Deut 7:5;16:21,22; Judges 2:12,13} The KJV uses the word EASTER instead of Passover in Acts 12:4?
