Comprehending the Two Priesthoods is what the B'rit Chadashah, "New Covenant" is all about.
As Solomon wrote, "Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us." Eccl 1:10, there is no new covenant, it was from of old, waiting to be revealed by YHUH, in time.
The Eternal Order of Melchizedek, of the Sons of Elohim, could not be comprehended without the temporal Levitical priesthood.
Men of the Israelites could be kings, and they could be priests, but they were not permitted to be both, with the exception of those men who were/are of the Sons of God/Elohim], like David. David is recorded in the genealogy of the Sons of God, in Luke 3. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, were/are also of the Sons of God/Elohim.
Those men chosen to be Sons of God/Elohim began with Adam, then passed to Abel, then to Seth, and later to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and later still to David, Nathan, finally to Joseph husband of Mary, surrogate of Yhusha Ha' Mashiach.
This is why Yhusha is called:
1) The Son of Man [Adam means Man]
2) The Son of David [by Nathan of Bathsheba]
3) The Son of God [born of the Semen of God, placed in Mary]
Of the natural flesh and blood Sons of Adam, some were left to be fleshly natural men, born of SaTaN's corrupted semen, such as Cain, while others received the Qodesh Set-apart Spirit and Semen of YHUH, and experienced two births [John 3:5]:
"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed* [* sperma - G-4690] remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." I John 3:9
Both Judaism and Christianity are false religions. This is why Yhusha said to those men claiming to be "Phariees" "You are of your father, the devil" [John 8:44].
There is no such term/word as "Pharisee(s)" in Torah. Torah [Instruction] is the word of YHUH, "the word of the LORD".
Deuteronomy 4:2 and Revelations 22:18-19 both caution against altering the word of "the LORD" [YHUH].
These hypocrites of Christianity claim that "Jesus came to start a new religion". No, He did not. He did not have a doctrine [form of instruction of teaching] that was His own. He came to manifest our Father's Name, YHUH, and His words:
"Henceforth, I will not be in the world, and these are in the world. And I am coming to Your presence. Kadosh Father, keep them by your Name, that which you have given to me, that they may be one as We are." John 17:11
It was written by Moses, that Yah's Messenger would have His Name on Him:
"Behold, I send an Angel [messenger] before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared." Exodus 20:21
"Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him." Exodus 23:21
All of the Sons of God/Elohim were prophets, because YHUH'S Spirit was dwelling in each.
This is why Yhusha stated that He had given to the apostles, His Father's word. Yhusha did not have a doctrine. YHUH'S word and instruction [Torah] was His word [See John 14:8-10]
"I have given to them Your Word and the world hates them because they are not of the world as I am not of the world." John 17:14.
When Phillip asked of Yhusha, "Show us the Father", the Father spoke out of Yhusha to Phillip. The Father told Phillip, "Have I been with you so long, Phillip, and you do not know me?"
Yhusha then told Phillip in verse 10, that the words which he [Phillip] heard, was the Father YHUH:
"Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." John 14;10
