All English translations are corrupt !
Posted : 10 Sep, 2016 11:33 AM

Hello everyone:

Yes, ALL English translations are corrupted, and it seems that there is not one pastor in this entire country which has the integrity to say that.

Since ALL English translations are corrupt what is needed is for the people to begin to learn to translate the Word of GOD Almighty, for then the people will have the Word of GOD , not the translations of men.

Let us look at the Scripture.

Matthew 6:33

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

To understand the Word of GOD Almighty first a person needs the Holy Spirit, for He is the one which had empowered the writers to pen the Word.

Then there are points OR rules which regulate grammar which need to be understood.

Then there are at least 7 different ways to understand the Word of GOD Almighty. The numbers in parenthesis are the 7 ways to understand the Word, and how to share the Word with others.

I have copied these points/ rules of language, and 7 different ways from a book titled

How to understand your Bible, written by T. Norton Sterrett.

This book was used by one of the elders in the fellowship I was with in Philadelphia, Pa. This elder said he wanted the believers to rely upon the Holy Spirit not him for understanding the Word of GOD Almighty.

Here is a short book written by Mr. Sterrett , this book as well as How to Understand your Bible could be used in the body of believers to help make disciples / LEARNERS of Messiah, thus making them students of the Word of GOD, being able to rightly divide the Word themselves, thus making every believer a teacher of the Word.

http://biblicalstudies.org.uk/pdf/ifes/8-1_sterrett.pdf

From what I understand about T. Norton Sterret is that he was an English teacher in India, and a believer in Messiah Yeshua. Mr. Sterrett had taken the Word of GOD Almighty and applied the rules of understanding language to the Scriptures.

I say this to EVERY person on this site, DO not be lazy in understanding the Word of GOD Almighty; be diligent and do not take any person at their word just because they have a title, or decorative paper (degrees, or diplomas ) on the wall, as most of these people are too lazy to actually translate the Word themselves.

Now let us look at Matthew 6:33

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

What most people do is to take a verse of Scripture away from the context in order to make a point, There are many people which do this and they misuse the Word to the detriment of those listening.

Remember, the 1st rule for understanding the Word of GOD Almighty is the CONTEXT.

Sometimes the context is immediate meaning nearby, say a sentence before or after what we are reading, other times it can be a paragraph before or after, or even a chapter before or after.

In the original Greek Scriptures there are no capitol letters, and no punctuation marks, no chapter and verse, these were added to try to make the Word easier to understand.

1"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 "But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

22 "The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. 23"But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

24"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.

25"For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, [as to] what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, [as to] what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 "Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and [yet] your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 "And who of you by being worried can add a [single] hour to his life? 28 "And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, 29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30 "But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is [alive] today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, [will He] not much more [clothe] you? You of little faith! 31 "Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?' 32 "For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34" So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Let us look at verse 33, there is 1 word which when translated wrong can change the entire meaning of that 1 verse, or even the entire text.

The word we will look into is the English word ' kingdom', we need to know the meaning of this word in the Greek language, then we need to know the TENSE of the word, is this past, present of future tense.

English: kingdom

Greek:basileia

A kingdom (932 /basilea) always requires a king as the kingdom (932 /basilea) of God does with King Jesus! 932 (basilea) especially refers to the rule of Christ in believers' hearts which is a rule that "one day will be universal on the physical earth in the Millennium" (G. Archer).

[The kingdom (932 /basilea) is constantly used in connection with the rule of Christ in the hearts of believers which also extends in various stages

Outline of Biblical Usage [?]

I.royal power, kingship, dominion, rule

A.not to be confused with an actual kingdom but rather the right or authority to rule over a kingdom

B.of the royal power of Jesus as the tri

C.of the royal power and dignity conferred on Christians in the Messiah's kingdom

II.a kingdom, the territory subject to the rule of a king

III.used in the N.T. to refer to the reign of the Messiah

Strongs Definitions [?](Strongs Definitions Legend)

βασιλεία basilea, bas-il-i'-ah; from G935; properly, royalty, i.e. (abstractly) rule, or (concretely) a realm (literally or figuratively):kingdom, + reign.

Most people teach this as to mean to be seeking an actual kingdom, or as the health and wealthers teach, this is about seeking the things you can get from GOD Almighty.

When taught correctly, a person sees this to mean that we are to be seeking to know who GOD Almighty is, and not to be seeking the things of the kingdom, but rather to be seeking to know the King of the Kingdom.

The ones calling themselves 'pastors' are the problem, not the people, these people go to the seminary

( cemetery) to learn to read, write and translate the Word of GOD into languages the people are able to understand.

When Messiah says to ' Make DISCIPLE / LEARNERS of me, He was not talk about dunking a person under water, that only makes a person wet. Messiah was saying to IMMERSE the people INTO the name of the Father, and the name of the Son, and the name of the Holy Spirit.

My question to all the people here is this; What is the name of the Father, the name of the Son, and the name of the Holy Spirit.

What is the character, attitude, and personality of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

People need to know these, rather then what GOD Almighty can do for them, One tells about the person, the other tells about what He does. MAKE Disciples / LEARNERS of me.

Acts 1:6-8

6 So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?" 7 He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; 8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

Next question, What does it mean to be a Witness OF Messiah.

What I say is to stop trusting what men are telling you about the Word of GOD Almighty, and begin learning for yourself Who Messiah is, and to know what He is like, for it is obvious most cannot answer that.

Begin to learn the basic for translating the Word of GOD Almighty, the self professed pastors say Knowing a little

Greek is dangerous, That is a lie straight from the devil himself, for knowing NO Greek is dangerous as these pastors have no one to challenge what they are teaching.

A famous person once said IF you tell the people a lie long enough they will believe it.

YOU are a sinner in order to be save you need to

1, You need to Know that you are a sinner

2. You need to repent of your sins

3. You need to trust Jesus to save you

Actually a person just needs to TRUST MESSIAH to save them, the rest is works.

A famous person once said IF you tell the people a lie long enough they will believe it. Who was this person?

If I fall off the deck of a ship what will these pastors say I need to do to be saved.

1. First you need to know how deep the water is.

2. You need to know how you fell into the water, confess your fault, then repent of your fault

3. You need someone to save you, so call for help.

Just call for help, trust you will be helped.

Have a blessed weekend

Shalom

"Since ALL English translations are corrupt what is needed is for the people to begin to learn to translate the Word of GOD Almighty, for then the people will have the Word of GOD , not the translations of men."

Some of the advice is good. We should not have the translations of men. This man fails to realize he also is a man, giving his own translation. So his advice is corrupted, and null and void.(no offense intended)

The same way as science and this world is the entire enemy of God, we can not trust anything at all that we hear from man. God is Spirit, He has His own ways. God gives reason into our hearts, trusting like little children, whoever or whatever is put in front of us, we eat and receive and we trust in, and the Lord will not place corruption for us, not a serpent or a stone, but gives good gifts of Heaven instead, as it is man that has no understanding at all of righteousness..

Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Sometimes you just have to believe that God would not allow his word to be Corrupt. Do you really think that a translation is corrupt? Why would God allow his word to be corrupt? Give some examples please.

First of all, we do not have any, that is ZERO, of the original manuscripts written by those inspired by God to write. So even the Greek and Hebrew that is being used to discern God's Word is a copy of the original. If God can maintain the integrity of these copies, I have no problem believing He can, will, and does maintain the integrity of *some* English versions. Granted that some are adulterated, which means that we must do our due diligence to investigate which versions are adulterated and which are not.

Personally, I use the NASB for my daily reading, but when I am developing a lesson/sermon or am doing a serious study, I will use many versions as well as many other commentaries and study guides. I use the PC Study Bible Advanced Reference Library for this.

In the end, what is the purpose of Scripture? I believe it is found in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, which states

"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."

So if the version you are using adequately fulfills this purpose, you are using a good version, in my opinion.

Hi Dennis

Thank you for your question.

Sometimes you just have to believe that God would not allow his word to be Corrupt. Do you really think that a translation is corrupt? Why would God allow his word to be corrupt? Give some examples please.

Dennis, lets ask, why did He let Adam eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, We do not know because He does not reveal that to us in His Word.

Here are a few Scriptures which have been translated wrongly OR have had words removed or added, with the translators saying the words removed or added help to understand the text better.

John 15: 1 -2

Most people calling themselves by a title called pastor use this Scripture to impose fear and to lay burdens upon people never intended by Messiah or the Holy Spirit.

This Scripture has been wrongly taught as the judgement of GOD against people claiming to be 'christians' which the pastors say are not BEARING fruit.

Those which teach this to be GODS judgement do not know what they are talking about, their teaching is corrupt and wrong, as the translations are corrupt being translated wrong.

I will post a host of translations concerning this section of the Gospel according to John chapter 15 verse 2.

I will post a short commentary on this, which also is wrong.

Dennis discern by the Holy Spirit what is of GOD Almighty and what is of men.

Commentary

Matthew Henry Commentary

15:1-8 Jesus Christ is the Vine, the true Vine. The union of the human and Divine natures, and the fulness of the Spirit that is in him, resemble the root of the vine made fruitful by the moisture from a rich soil. Believers are branches of this Vine. The root is unseen, and our life is hid with Christ; the root bears the tree, diffuses sap to it, and in Christ are all supports and supplies. The branches of the vine are many, yet, meeting in the root, are all but one vine; thus all true Christians, though in place and opinion distant from each other, meet in Christ. Believers, like the branches of the vine, are weak, and unable to stand but as they are borne up. The Father is the Husbandman. Never was any husbandman so wise, so watchful, about his vineyard, as God is about his church, which therefore must prosper. We must be fruitful. From a vine we look for grapes, and from a Christian we look for a Christian temper, disposition, and life. We must honour God, and do good; this is bearing fruit. The unfruitful are taken away. And even fruitful branches need pruning; for the best have notions, passions, and humours, that require to be taken away, which Christ has promised to forward the sanctification of believers, they will be thankful, for them. The word of Christ is spoken to all believers; and there is a cleansing virtue in that word, as it works grace, and works out corruption. And the more fruit we bring forth, the more we abound in what is good, the more our Lord is glorified. In order to fruitfulness, we must abide in Christ, must have union with him by faith. It is the great concern of all Christ's disciples, constantly to keep up dependence upon Christ, and communion with him. True Christians find by experience, that any interruption in the exercise of their faith, causes holy affections to decline, their corruptions to revive, and their comforts to droop. Those who abide not in Christ, though they may flourish for awhile in outward profession, yet come to nothing. The fire is the fittest place for withered branches; they are good for nothing else. Let us seek to live more simply on the fulness of Christ, and to grow more fruitful in every good word and work, so may our joy in Him and in his salvation be full.

The reason this has been translated wrongly, a word not found in the Greek text was ADDED, why;we do not have an answer from the translators.

This word completely changes the text, and those teaching from the corrupt English text teaching wrongly the Word of GOD Almighty, thus teaching wrongly about GOD Almighty Himself.

The English word that has been added is the word AWAY in verse 2, this cannot be found in the Greek text, it was added thereby corrupting the Word of GOD Almighty.

The Greek word for away is: apo

◄ 575. apo ►

Strong's Concordance

apo: from, away from

Original Word: ἀπό

Part of Speech: Preposition

Transliteration: apo

Phonetic Spelling: (apo')

Short Definition: from, away from

Definition: from, away from

Dennis, you and others say show me where this has taken place, lets go back to the text and see where the text has been changed.

Scrivener's Textus Receptus 1894

πᾶν κλῆμα ἐν ἐμοὶ μὴ φέρον καρπόν,( αἴρει )αὐτό καὶ πᾶν τὸ καρπὸν φέρον, καθαίρει αὐτό, ἵνα πλείονα καρπὸν φέρῃ.

The Greek word in parenthesis is the word: air

Definition: I raise, lift up, take away, remove.

Without the word 'apo' after the word airo, the text should read.

Each branch not CARRYING fruit He lifts, or takes, each branch CARRYING fruit He CLEANS, for it to CARRY more fruit.

There is a similar adding of the same English word 'AWAY' in 1st John 3 verse 5, which cannot be found in the Greek text .

John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

John 15:1 Each branch not CARRYING fruit (He lifts, or takes), each branch CARRYING fruit He CLEANS, for it to CARRY more fruit.

God the husbandman wants us to bear much fruit. He purges some branches to grow more fruit, and the branch that does not bear fruit, what is done in that case ? Unless the branch is in Christ, who is the vine, it cannot grow fruit. When the branch does not abide in Christ the vine, it is cast forth, then it is withered, then it is gathered, and then the men/angels in the end of the world cast them into the fire, the lake of fire and then they are burned with unquenchable fire. I missed John 15 verse 2 out, but looking back with all in context, He lifts the branch, or, takes away/casts forth as a branch.

To know other scriptures always is useful, The Lord gave King Saul and took him away. The Lord gave Saul as reminded in Acts 13:22, and removed him. Other scriptures make it apparant what is meant. Like in Ezekiel 16:49 , we see the Lord does remove or take away, what is no good to Him...

Hosea 13:11 I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took him away in my wrath.

Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Ezekiel 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

Another in the Gospel shows us Christ comes seeking fruit, and when He finds none, and it has been dunged, He has it cut down...

Luke 13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

Similar problem again, He takes, or lifts, our sins..

1 John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

We know He was manifested, read the words also. It is not something new, it is something we know already very well. He took it out of the way, the sins we die in. His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree....

Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Yes be a Berean, search the scriptures daily if these things are so, not search Greek which is foolishness with God according to the scriptures..

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

1 Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

Pastors are no good either

Jeremiah 10:21 For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.

Acts 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Matthew 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Hi Adam;

When dealing with a section of the Word of GOD, it is good to stick with that section before moving on, as it seems you are not willing to stay with the text provided and comment on that particular Scripture.

It also seems that you are only voicing what you have been told by the pastors, OR writings from pastors that do not translate the Word of GOD and are not willing to teach other to do so.

hi, yes i stay with one scripture, but we have many scriptures all confirming one another, showing no need for a man's confusion or misleading deception.

if Gods word was for the wise in this world, then we need to research original languages, but seeing as His word is for babes, no need for that at all

Hi Adam;

I believe this is your answer,

Your answer tells me that you do not research the Word of GOD to find the right understanding of the Word, that is so sad because the Christians do the same thing.

Study to show yourself approved.

Research this Scripture, tell me if the translations are correct.

Matthew 14

Jesus Walks on the Water

22 Immediately He made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowdsaway. 23 After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone. 24 But the boat was already a long distance from the land, battered by the waves; for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea. 26 When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out in fear. 27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid."

Ask yourself these questions.

1. Is this translations correct ? IF not what is the correct translation.

2. Why did Peter get out of the boat ?

The correct translations tells why Peter had gotten out of the boat.
