Love requires commitment, and commitment requires abandoning our exit strategies.
One of my favorite examples of removing any exit strategy comes from the prophet Elisha. The Old Testament book of 1 Kings chronicles Elisha�s extraordinary story. God called Elisha into a life of ministry, but Elisha wisely understood that embracing his calling would mean letting go of his current career. He had to make a choice between his love for God and his need for the familiarity and financial security of his home.
Elisha was a farmer from a family of farmers. His cattle and his farming equipment represented his family trade, his heritage, and his income. Elisha didn�t want the temptation of a comfortable exit strategy in his mind on the days when his new life in ministry might get uncomfortable. Elisha wanted to go all in with God.
To simultaneously celebrate his new calling and publicly display his commitment to God, Elisha threw himself a very unique going-away party. He slaughtered all his cattle and cooked their meat by burning all his farm equipment. He was symbolically and literally lighting fire to his exit strategy.
As he celebrated his new adventure with friends and family that night, they all knew he wouldn�t be coming home, because he�d made sure he�d have nothing to come home to. He had removed the temptation. He had eliminated the exit strategy. His love for God moved him to make a dramatic commitment.
God honored Elisha�s commitment. Elisha went on to become one of the most significant spiritual leaders in Israel�s history. His love, faith, and commitment to God continue to inspire people around the globe.
Love thrives where love is rooted in commitment. Make sure your loved ones know your love isn�t just a fickle feeling; it�s a promise for your shared future. Embrace a deeper sense of responsibility for and accountability to your loved ones, and you�ll be cultivating fertile soil where lasting love can take root.
So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him. And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee? And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.
THE FATHER LOVES HIS FAITHFUL SAINTS JUST AS MUCH AS HE LOVES JESUS!!
John 17:23: Jesus says to His Father, "You sent Me and have **LOVED THEM** even as you **LOVED** Me!!"
JESUS LOVES HIS FAITHFUL SAINTS JUST AS MUCH AS THE FATHER LOVES HIM!!
John 15:9,10" Jesus says, "As the Father **LOVED** Me, so I have **LOVED** you!! Now remain in My **LOVE. **IF** you obey My commands, you will remain in My **LOVE**, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in His **LOVE**!"
John 14:21,23: Jesus says, "Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who **LOVES** Me! He who loves Me will be **LOVED** by My Father, and I will **LOVE** him....If anyone **LOVES** Me, he will obey My teaching. My Father will **LOVE** him, and we will come to him and make Our home with him!!"
WHAT'S **LOVE**GOT TO DO WITH IT??
I Peter 1:22: "Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere **LOVE** for your brothers, **LOVE** one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again... through the living and enduring Word of God!
I Corinthians 13:2,4-8: If I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not **LOVE** I am nothing...**LOVE** is patient, **LOVE** is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. **LOVE** does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. **LOVE** never fails!!"
John 13:34: Jesus says, "A NEW command I give you: **LOVE* one another As I have **LOVED** you, so you must **LOVE** one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples."
Matthew 28:19.20� Jesus commands, �Go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to *OBEY EVERYTHING* I have commanded you!� {See I John 2:3-5}
EVERYTHING would also include all the other commands in God's inspired Word from Acts to Revelation as per 2 Timothy 3:16: 4:2: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work...Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction."
If we really **LOVE** our brothers and sister in Christ we will lovingly teach them to obey all the approximately 400 commands of the NT with **LOVE** in the hope of countless eternal rewards when Jesus comes with great power with all His angels.
Revelation 22:112: Jesus says,"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done!?
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, For the Son of Man is going to come in His **FATHER'S GLORY WITH HIS ANGELS**, and **THEN** He will reward each person according to what he has done."
Ephesians 4:15: "Speaking the Truth in **LOVE**, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ! From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in **LOVE**, as each part does its work."
Ephesians 3:17-19: "I pray that you, being rooted and established in **LOVE** may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the **LOVE** of Christ, and to know this **LOVE** that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God!!"
Speaking Gods love is no good, if we have power to help others and do not do it, how does the love of God dwell in us ? Our reward is to help others, not a pretense love but sincerely as Christ did all to save our souls..
1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Romans 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
So love always was from the beginning, but now we have a heart to perceive love and we saw God do His great love for us, so we can do it too, not thinking gain is godliness..
1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Gods love endures all things, Gods righteous judgements endure for ever...
1 Corinthians 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Psalms 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
"WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH WHICH IS THE FREE GIFT OF GOD--NOT BY WORKS SO THAT NO ONE CAN BOAST!!"
Ephesians 2:4-10: Because of His great love for us, God,, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is **BY GRACE** you have been saved! And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is **BY GRACE** you have been saved, through faith-- and this **NOT FROM YOURSELVES**, it is the **GIFT** of God--**NOT BY WORKS**, so that no one can boast. FOR WE ARE GOD'S WORKMANSHIP, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS TO DO **GOOD WORKS**, WHICH GOD PREPARED IN ADVANCE FOR US TO DO!!
Everyone agrees that "**FAITH** without **GOOD WORKS ** is dead!" as per James 2:17. However, the reason that God's born again from above saints do good works is **NOT TO BE SAVED** but to bring **MUCH PRAISE** to our Father and Jesus Christ and to gain countless **ETERNAL REWARDS** for faithful and loving service.
Matthew 5:16: Jesus says, "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and **PRAISE YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN**!!"
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, �The Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels and THEN He will **REWARD** each person according to what he has done!�
2 Corinthians 5:9,10: We make it our goal to please Him... for we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive **WHAT IS DUE HIM** for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
1 Corinthians 3:13-15: His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives , he will receive his **REWARD**. If it is burned up he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.
Colossians 3:23-25: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a **REWARD**. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.
I Corinthians 9:24-27: Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes in to strict training. They do it to get a **CROWN** that will not last; but we do it to get a **CROWN THAT WILL LAST FOREVER**! Therefore, I do not run like a man running aimlessly. I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize!
2 John 1:8: Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be **REWARDED** fully!.
Titus 3:3,4: At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and **LOVE** of God our Savior appeared , he saved us, **NOT BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUS THINGS WE HAD DONE**, but because of **HIS MERCY**!!
Romans 11:5,6: At the present time there is a remnant **CHOSEN BY GRACE**! And if by grace it is **NO LONGER BY WORKS**; if it were, grace would no longer be grace!!
Romans 9:30-32: What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is **BY FAITH**; but Israel, who pursued a law of righteousness, has not attained it Why not? Because they pursued it **NOT BY FAITH** but as it were by works!!
Romans 4:5-8: To the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, **HIS FAITH** is credited as righteousness. David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness **APART FROM WORKS**: "Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will **NEVER COUNT AGAINST HIM**!!" {Psalm 32:1,2}
Ephesians 1:5-8: In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will--to the praise of His **GLORIOUS GRACE**, which He has freely given us in the One He loves. In Him we have **REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD**, the **FORGIVENESS OF SINS**, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding!
John 3:3: Jesus says, I tell you the Truth, no one can see the Kingdom of God **UNLESS HE IS BORN AGAIN!!"
John 1:12,13: To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, **NOR OF A HUMAN DECISION** or a husband's will but, **BORN OF GOD**!!
John 6:37,39,44,65: Jesus says, "**ALL** that the Father gives Me **WILL** come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will **NEVER** drive away... And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall **LOSE NONE** of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the Last Day.... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father who sent Me **DRAWS HIM**, and I will raise him up at the Last Day!!... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father has **ENABLED THEM**!!"
Romans 829-33,35,38,39: For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son...And those He **PREDESTINED**, He also called; those He **CALLED**, He also justified; those He **JUSTIFIED** He also **GLORIFIED**. What shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His Son but gave Him up for us all--how will He not also give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those **WHOM GOD HAS CHOSEN**? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns... Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?... For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither the present or the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!!
Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be **JUSTIFIED BY FAITH**. Now that faith has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW!!"
Love requires commitment and truth. Who can not act like they are a Christian these days, but we see the intentions of the heart, the narrow and wide ways, the narrow is tough and terrible and you lose all and sit lowest, the wide you do nothing and look to gain everything and sit high in pride and without justice or wisdom, wisdom is justified of all her children...
2 Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Isaiah 1:23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one LOVETH GIFTS, and FOLLOWETH AFTER REWARDS: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

"DO GOD'S BORN AGAIN FROM ABOVE SAINTS STILL SIN AFTER THEY ARE SAVED??
I John1:8-10: If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His Word has no place in our lives!!
Luke 10:2-4: Jesus said to His disciples, "When you pray, say: '*Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our **DAILY** bread. **FORGIVE US OUR SINS**, for we forgive everyone who sins against us!!'"
Take Peter for example:
Matthew 16:24: Jesus said to Peter, "Get behind Me Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men!"
Matthew 26:75: Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken; "Before the rooster crows, you will **DISOWN ME THREE TIMES**!!"
Then Peter repented of this sin in Acts 15:1-11:"
prophetic does not check anything he says with what the scripture says.
Love never fails!
Love as I have loved you, Christ never failing, never working ill to anyone Mark 7:37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, HE HATH DONE ALL THINGS WELL: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

prophetics has agenda, to forget all the old testament commandments, but Christ did not forget them, including teaching us to pray always to be accounted worthy, not to covet for rewards..

prophetics has a major flaw, he keeps giving mixed messages, he is critical to label the Lords Holy Apostles as sinners, and continues to post scripture showing we keep all in love. Because as testified below, if we do not love Christ, we do not keep His sayings, we break them instead, which prophetics says we can not avoid.
John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

Everyone agrees that "**FAITH** without **GOOD WORKS ** is dead!" as per James 2:17. However, the reason that God's born again from above saints do good works is **NOT TO BE SAVED** but to bring **MUCH PRAISE** to our Father and Jesus Christ and to gain countless **ETERNAL REWARDS** for faithful and loving service.
Matthew 5:16: Jesus says, "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and **PRAISE YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN**!!"
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, �The Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels and THEN He will **REWARD** each person according to what he has done!�
2 Corinthians 5:9,10: We make it our goal to please Him... for we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive **WHAT IS DUE HIM** for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
1 Corinthians 3:13-15: His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives , he will receive his **REWARD**. If it is burned up he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

Actually TNT you have apparently forgotten that the forbidding to eat certain animals birds and fish was strictly in the OT Covenant for Jews. According to Noah's Covenant and Adam's Covenant God allowed people to eat everything with the breath of life in it!!!!!

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify ourselves from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned we make Him out to be a liar and His word has no place in our hearts... If anybody does sin we have One who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins...We know we have come to know Him if we obey **HIS COMMANDS**. Now everyone agrees that God's born from above saints, washed in the blood of the Lamb; are commanded to make spiritual sacrifices in the New Covenant. However, God's Word clearly states dozens of times that Jesus Christ put an **END TO ALL SACRIFICES **FOR SIN**. According to OT Law there were thousands of animal sacrifices **FOR SIN** since without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin. But the sacrifices God's saints make in the NT are never **CONTINUED** sacrifices for sin since Jesus put an end to all sacrifices for sin!!
The reason God's saints make sacrifices and do good works is not for the forgiveness of sins but to thank God for His free gift of eternal life and to gain countless eternal rewards for faithful and loving service!
Hebrews 10:11-18: Day after day every priest performs his religious duties again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this Priest had offered for all time **ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS**, He sat down at the right hand of God... Because by **ONE SACRIFICE** He has made ***PERFECT FOREVER*** those who are being made holy. The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time says the Lord. I will put My laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds." The he adds" Their sins and lawless acts I will remember **NO MORE**." And when these have been forgiven , there is **NO LONGER ANY SACRIFICE FOR SIN**!!

Hebrews 10:8-10: First He said, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire although the Law required them to be made. Then He said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will." He set aside the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been made holy through the **SACRIFICE OF THE BODY OF JESUS ONCE FOR ALL**!!
Galatians 2:14-16: Paul said, When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs? WHAT WILL TAKE PLACE DURING THE COMING 1260-DAY GREAT TRIBULATION??
According to the prophecies in God's inspired Word there will be a 1260-day Great Tribulation and on the Last Day of this Great Tribulation Jesus will come and resurrect God's saints and then they will enjoy the New Heavens and the New Earth and the Heavenly New Jerusalem as per Rev 21:1-5. At the beginning of this 1260-day Great Tribulation 666 and his False Prophet, with the help of many miracles, will rule every Nation in the world from the evil city on 7 hills or Rome. They will decree that no one on earth will be able to buy or sell anything unless that have the name of 666 or the number of his name on their right hand or forehead.
But God will take care of all the needs of God's saints in the wilderness just as He took care of Israel for 40 years in the wilderness. 3 1/2 days before the start of the 1260-day Great Tribulation God's 2 witnesses Moses and Elijah will come to earth and warn God's saints of the coming of 666. This is the next prophetic event that God's true saints should be looking for. {See Rev 11:3-12}
Any prophecies that ADD or TAKE WORDS AWAY from these prophecies is an unpardonable sin as per as per Revelation 22:16-19. Such as Louie's ridiculous prophecy in September 2014 which didn't take place or any other prophecies which disagree with the book of Revelation.
During this 1260-day Great tribulation all of the New Covenant commands of Jesus will still be in force such as Matthew 6:31-34 where Jesus commands, "So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans {Like Louie} run after all these things, and your heavenly father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own!!"

Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved!!"
Revelation 12:11: Thy overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death!!

All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast--all whose names have not been written in the Book of Life belonging to the LAMB who was slain.....He {The False Prophet} will force everyone.. to receive a mark on his right hand or forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name{666}{Which is an unpardonable sin as per Rev 14:9-11}. This calls for wisdom, If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is a man's number. His number is 666!
Revelation 22:16,18,19: "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this prophecy for the churches... I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book. If anyone **ADDS* {Like Louie} anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone **TAKES WORDS AWAY**{Like Louie} from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the Tree of Life and in the Holy City {The New Jerusalem} which are described in this book!"

2 Peter 3:10-13: But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will DISAPPEAR with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and *EVERYTHING* in it will be burned up {NIV}. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you wait eagerly for the Day of God to come. {NIV} That Day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with His promise **WE** {Excluding the Preterists and the RC church} are looking forward to a New heavens and a New Earth, the home of righteousness.
Hebrews 11:13-16: All these people {Abraham, Sarah Isaac, Jacob, Noah etc} were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were looking for a BETTER COUNTRY--a HEAVENLY ONE. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a *CITY* (The *NEW JERUSALEM*} for them!!
Galatians 4:25,26: Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the **JERUSALEM** that is **ABOVE** is free, and she is our MOTHER !!
