Scroll down to the part on 501c3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/501%28c%29_organization There are many organizations that are non-profit and tax exempted. Adoption centers, Children's shelters, Battered Women's shelters, Runaway shelters, Homeless shelters, Animal shelters, Hospice care, Habitat for Humanity...as well as some Churches and Synagogues. I really do not understand why some folks are so wrapped up in talking smack about the doings of something they wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. Post Reply
