Admin	Does God actually ''talk'' to you? Posted : 29 Mar, 2015 01:23 AM how do you know? how do you discern between spirits? what has he revealed to you in the past? I always feel like I need a third person to communicate with God, and it's not like I'm Catholic! Post Reply

In my personal experience, not with an audible voice , though some claim in their heart God spoke to them. To me its through Scripture, and others, and answered prayer/certain circumstances. Ultimately God speaks through His word. Stick to that and youll be on the right path. Does God give us free choice? yes sure. But were to way all that up in the light of Scripture. Post Reply

Posted : 2 Apr, 2015 02:51 PM The times I have most believed God spoke to me it was a matter of bringing Scripture to mind or having it suddenly better understood. There have been a couple other times when I was praying about something that I suddenly received insight into the situation. I believe that was God speaking to me. Post Reply

Remember the Matrix films where Smith could see through the eyes of every person all the time and take them over? God has spoken to me in dreams, not directly but through things that happened in them. Post Reply

God made a donkey talk to Balaam why wouldn't He speak for himself. I have heard his voice a couple of times. Its different from the ordinary thought in one's head. If you want to hear him out ask him Jeremiah 33:3, to Him nothing is a secret. The Bible is a live word for you. God is talking to you from it. Post Reply
