Its very powerful for those whom are working out their salvation with fear and trembling as well!!

We must be very careful we do not look upon others with self righteous dogmatic eyes. Agreed?

Phil 2:12So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; 13for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus

Philippians 1:6

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

2:12-18 We must be diligent in the use of all the means which lead to our salvation, persevering therein to the end. With great care, lest, with all our advantages, we should come short. Work out your salvation, for it is God who worketh in you. This encourages us to do our utmost, because our labour shall not be in vain: we must still depend on the grace of God. The working of God's grace in us, is to quicken and engage our endeavours. God's good-will to us, is the cause of his good work in us. Do your duty without murmurings. Do it, and do not find fault with it. Mind your work, and do not quarrel with it. By peaceableness; give no just occasion of offence. The children of God should differ from the sons of men. The more perverse others are, the more careful we should be to keep ourselves blameless and harmless. The doctrine and example of consistent believers will enlighten others, and direct their way to Christ and holiness, even as the light-house warns mariners to avoid rocks, and directs their course into the harbour. Let us try thus to shine. The gospel is the word of life, it makes known to us eternal life through Jesus Christ. Running, denotes earnestness and vigour, continual pressing forward; labouring, denotes constancy, and close application. It is the will of God that believers should be much in rejoicing; and those who are so happy as to have good ministers, have great reason to rejoice with them.

Gods grace abides.....

Self righteous dogmatic eyes? Not on my part I assure you.

If most Christians are not apostate then we are not living in the last days are we?

We are most definitely living in the last days. Every prophecy of Daniel Chapter 11 has come true in Iran's history and the only thing left to happen is the rise of the last and final anti-Christ. And, yes. Despite so many Christians believe that Christians will not be here to see this great tribulation, the reality is, according to the parable of the ten virgins, only half of born again Christians will "endure to the end" and be saved. How do I know this? I am a bible scholar of the end of days. I have written 3 books on the subject. Mystery Mother of Harlots ~ Book of the Seven Seals, which is a study guide for the book of Revelations, The New Covenant, which is a consolidated version of the New Testament, but the most concise of the three is my newest publication, Lamp Unto My feet, which is a "preparedness guide" and gives the greatest insight to the events that will come as a trial upon all the earth. So, yes. We must prepare our hearts and draw as close to God in our daily walk before these events are upon us. These books can be found by searching the title of each book at Lulu.com

RD63 Thank you for your input.

End times studies has always been a subject where not all agree . It is also a subject where it is not necessary to agree. It is not a salvation essential issue.

There are many end time scholars abound. The "great" theologians disagree on this!

I personally think its by far most important to keep the lamps full, keep our eyes on Jesus Christ, work on our scripture memorization, and work diligently on our prayer life.

I am trying to prepare for the worst and praying for the best for myself and loved ones.

May we all continue to spread the truth of the gospel until our day arrives!

May Gods grace abide..
