How to implement God's commands?

How Can We Obey God's Commandments?
Many Christians say, "Oh, I wish I could live up to the Ten Commandments, but I know I can't." In their minds, keeping God's commandments is an unattainable goal. Ok if they do NOT obey God then they live in disobedience and sins.
There is NO third option: or you live and WALK with God in righteousness:angel: or you live in sins.
REMEMBER Christians: There is NO third option!
Many people do NOT understand the nature and purpose of God's Commandments. They even think that our God Jesus was kidding when He commanded to OBEY His commands!
How can we OBEY what God says? If we will just DO, APPLY what God commands!
For example, any human being is capable of not worshipping an idol, treating parents with respect, not murdering another person, not committing adultery or not stealing what belongs to someone else. We all can love all people and even enemies. But NOT all WANT to do that! That is the problem!
There are many such Christians who do NOT live as God commands them! They are in fact sons of disobedience!
5 Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead:winksmile: to immorality:angeldevil::devil::buddies::toomuch:, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. 6 For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience:devil::angeldevil:, 7 and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them.
8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10 and have put on the new man :angel:who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him...
Colossians 3
Did you read above what God said through His sons what we should do before the Return of Jesus to our planet?!
Or you prefer to be a son of disobedience?
Just REMEMBER that if you will live in such sins then you will die in sins and the Son of God will judge you for your sexual immorality and wrath and many other sins listed in the New Testament!
Romans 1:18
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness
Ephesians 5:6
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
Disobedient mean they do NOT obey what God commands! Ponder, you who pretend to be Christians!
Character of the New Man
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy:angel: and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love:hearts:, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts :applause:to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him:applause:.
This is how the TRUE Christians live and walk and die...in HOLINESS:angel:! Did you see such godly people of God?!
Are we unprofitable servants?
What is our Faith and Duty?
5 And the apostles said to the Lord (Jesus), Increase our faith.
6 So the Lord said, If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you.
7 And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, Come at once and sit down to eat? 8 But will he not rather say to him, Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink?
9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not.
10 So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded:angel:, say, We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty:angel::hearts: to do.
Luke 17
Jesus pointed out that there is a higher level of righteousness:angel: that goes beyond the limited written demands of the laws of Goda spirit or spiritual intent of the law that goes beyond the mere letter of the law (2 Corinthians:3:5-6).
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, 6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Jesus summarized that standard: "'You shall love :hearts:the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love :hearts:your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets" (Matthew:22:37-40). Those two great commandments summarize the ultimate righteousness :angel:that God is creating in His children, commanding them to OBEY Him in the Holy Scripture.
To OBEY God first, we must acknowledge that God's commandments are spiritual in nature (Romans:7:14) as well as being holy, just and good (verse 12).
12 Therefore the law is holy:angel:, and the commandment holy :angel:and just and good.
We must ALWAYS REMEMBER and recognize that God will NOT establish an eternal relationship with one who willfully chooses to continue transgressing His law committing sexual immorality daily....living in sins! God just ABANDONS such person! (Isaiah:59:1-2).
Behold, the Lords hand is not shortened,
That it cannot save;
Nor His ear heavy,
That it cannot hear.
But your iniquities:devil: have separated you from your God;
And your sins have hidden His face from you,
So that He will not hear.
REMEMBER: the first act of repentance is to willingly choose to obey God's commandments as the only acceptable foundation for a right relationship with God Jesus! (Matthew:19:16-19; Luke:6:46).
Remember that to accept Jesus Christ's sacrifice as payment for our past sins all people should REPENT, ABANDONING our sins...God needs our REPENTANCE: "Now . . . they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, 'Men and brethren, what shall we do?' Then Peter said to them, 'Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit'" (Acts:2:37-38).
When this happens (with genuine spiritual understanding of what God commands) a whole new level of righteous :angel:development begins. This is the kind of righteousness that God wants us to strive to develop with the help He makes available through His Spirit during all days of our lives!
Unfortunately Christians do NOT obey God and they do NOT do what God commands, forgetting that their ungodly and sinful life is just gathering WRATH of God until our Judgement Day and the White Throne of Judgement of our God Jesus!
Let's look how the TRUE Christians live:
(As Paul expressed it) "Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation:angel: with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. DO:angel::hearts: all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless :angel:and harmless:angel:, children of God :angel:without fault:angel: in the midst of a crooked :devil:and perverse generation:devil:, among whom you shine as lights:glow: in the world" (Philippians 2:12-15).
In this way God raises the relationship we have with Him through Jesus Christ from obedience to love of all people and enemies. God commands us to have such level of righteousness .
But if we repent of our selfish ways:devil: that lead us into sin :buddies:and surrender our lives unconditionally to our heavenly Father, we can accept Christ's sacrifice for our sins and receive forgiveness. God then promises that we "may participate in the divine nature:angel: and escape the corruption:devil: in the world caused by evil desires" (2 Peter:1:4).
How? Obeying Him!
1 Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness :angel:of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness:angel:, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature:angel:, having escaped the corruption:devil: that is in the world through lust.
2 Peter
