To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair.

 Isaiah 61:3

Isaiah 61:3-4 promises that God "will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness:angel:, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory. They will rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities destroyed long ago" (NLT).

But why?

For the person who has made a mess of his or her lifea pile of ashes, so to speakGod says, "I will bring beauty." For those who mourn because of the wrongs they have done and the sins they have committed, God says, "I will bring joy out of it."

God COMMANDS us to repent ABANDONING our sins:devil::toomuch::buddies::angeldevil::Mug::stop:!

Only God can take a tangled mess of a life, turn it around, and transform it in such a way that you wouldn't even know that individual used to be a very different person. Not only that, but such a transformation gives hope to others who may still despair over the condition of their lives.

If you come to Christ and say, "Lord, here I am. Forgive me of my sin," He can transform you and change you. He can take your mistakes and your sins, turn them around, and even use them for His glory. When you commit your life to the SON of God who is God like His Father, putting the broken, stained, twisted pieces into His hand, He will transform it into a thing of beauty. But HOW?

If you will REPENT of your sins to LIVE with God in the renewed godly life:angel: to be HOLY like God is HOLY!

If you will live in sins, you will die in sins!

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die:devil:; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

Romans 8:13

So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh-- 13 for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Romans 6:21

What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of:devil:? Those things result in death:devil:!

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 9:27

No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified :devil:for the prize.

Colossians 3:5

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience:devil:, 7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these:devil:: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man :devil:with his deeds, 10 and have put on the new man :angel:who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him (GOD!).

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on :angel:tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love:hearts:, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Colossians 3

WHY should we do that?

24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance:angel:; for you serve the Lord Christ:bow:. 25 But he who does wrong:devil::angeldevil::buddies::toomuch::Mug: will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.

There is no partiality with God! He WARNS Christians and Muslims and unbelievers to punish for sins those who do NOT live a godly life but live in sins!
