God heals

The name of the God of Israel is "GOD HEALS".



Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

� James 5:14



I believe that God heals today. We know He has miraculously built into the human body a natural process in which it heals over time. But I believe God can quicken the healing process.



I also believe that He can do a miracle when we have been told there is no hope. I have seen so many of these miracles myself. God promises His healing touch and tells us that by His stripes we are healed. So we should ask God to heal us when we are facing sickness.



In James 5, we are given the scriptural pattern for healing: "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord."



It is interesting that the Bible does not say, "Is anyone among you sick? Then go find a faith healer." I'm not suggesting that miracles didn't take place in the early church because they certainly did. I'm not saying that healing wasn't done by faith because it was. My point is that it never was the focus of the apostles. The early church didn't follow signs and wonders; signs and wonders followed them. This is an important distinction.



We can go to God and ask Him to heal. I thank God that healing is available to us today. But we make a mistake when we focus on phenomena. Instead, we should focus on the proclamation of God's Word and leave the miracles, healings, and the rest up to God to do as He sovereignly chooses.

I warned him many times to repent and abandon his satanic teaching which contradict the Bible but he continues his "healing" business deceiving even Christians!



Are Christians being deceived in these last days by depending on Satanic methods of healing, while losing their walk with God in the process? Instead of depending on the healing power of God through His Word (His Son Jesus Christ), many Christians are running after false religious methods and practices. Jesus Christ still heals today, but even in church there are some people who are performing supernatural miracles that many Christians think is being done through the power of the Holy Spirit, but they are deceived. It is an evil seducing power that comes from the same supernatural source as the miracles that will be done in the book of Revelation under the power of Satan.



Revelation 13:12-14: And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. This same power is even now deceiving many people through false doctrines, through cults of every kind... People are receiving physical healings that come from sources other than Jesus Christ (sources such as acupuncture, magnetic healing, etc), and because of their deep desire to be healed these people are not thinking of the spiritual consequences.



Ok but how Christians could be healed?



We became sick by disobeying His commands; we are healed by repentance and obedience. Sickness is the result of sin (Dt 28:15ff), but not necessarily the sin of the sick person (see Jn 9:3). However, many times our sickness is at least partially caused by our own sins. We should obey the "doctor's orders" of Dr. Jesus and go to Confession before going to any other doctor (see Sir 38:4-12). If we do not repent, there can be no cure for us (Ps 32:3-5; Sir 3:27).



"Laying on of Hands" is one of the routine methods that Jesus used to heal people. The scripture reads, "He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them" [Mark 6:5].



The recovery of the sick through the "Laying on of Hands" is one of the signs that will follow any believer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. "They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover" [Mark 16:18].



So, if you ill find the true Christian to pray for you and ask God to heal you this way.



Ananias, "laid hands" on Paul for healing in Acts 9:17. Paul on the Island of Melita prayed and laid his hands on the father of Publius and healed him [Acts 28:8]. Paul also ministered healing to all that were sick on the island [Acts 28:9].



In James 5:14-15, the sick believer is instructed to call for the Elders of the Church of God.



"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven".



That is how we could be healed without any satanic "healing ministries" in churches.
