James 5:16 is a very interesting Verse of Scripture

Hello everyone:
This morning i had gone to a mens meeting at the local fellowship.
During the meeting one of the men had shared a verse in James 5,which was verse 16,and this verse had been with me most of the day.
I have just finished looking into this verse,the past 20 minutes,and i believe this verse has been mistranslated.
I will post a few translations then i would have each of you to decide if the verse needs to be corrected.
James 5:16
(EMTV) Confess your transgressions to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of the righteous is very powerful.
(KJV) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
(KJV+) ConfessG1843 your faultsG3900 one to another,G240 andG2532 prayG2172 one for another,G240 G5228 thatG3704 ye may be healed.G2390 The effectual ferventG1754 prayerG1162 of a righteous manG1342 availethG2480 much.G4183
(LEB) Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much.
(LITV) Confess to one another the deviations (from the Law), and pray for one another, that you may be healed. Very strong is a righteous petition, being made effective.
(YLT) Be confessing to one another the trespasses, and be praying for one another, that ye may be healed; very strong is a working supplication of a righteous man;
Notice the LITV or the Literal translation version,this version is missing the word ( man) after 'righteous'.
Why could this be,is it possible the word 'man' has been added to change the entire text.
Having a little understanding of the Hebrew,and Greek languages has its advantages.
Having NO understanding of the Hebrew and Greek will leave believers open prey for the wolves.

From the NIV: James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
My understanding is that, when the verse was written, the church was kind of a family gathering. So confessing sins to one another is like making known to ones family the sin that was committed and as a family each or all members will pray for/with the sinner, petition to God for forgiveness. A prayer of a righteous person is powerful. And so IF in that family there are righteous persons among them, group prayers will be effective because of them.
