Celebrating the 4th of July

Hello everyone:
I do not want anyone believing that i happen to be a killjoy.
I find many times over that 'christians' come to fellowship with one another and most of what is spoken about cannot be found in the Word of GOD.
Men usually come with the latest sports scores,and woman show with things about the home,and family,Yet both men and women usually do not have anything to speak about the Word of GOD.
This 4th of July families might have barbecue,and see other relatives,some people will spend time with friends ( I will ),and some might watch the local fireworks at night and give accolades for the entertainment.
When these same people go to 'church' will they have anything to share from the Word of GOD.
Most if not all will have nothing to contribute other than being told when to stand and when to sit.
OOOOppppppsssssss my bad; the people will have something to contribute,their paycheck,or at least a 'tenth',which some part goes to the man telling them when to stand and when to sit.
This is what GOD Almighty says about appearing before Him empty spiritually, by not having the Word of GOD within you,
and / or not having the Holy Spirit within oneself.
Exodus 23:15 You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I have commanded you, at the set time of the month of Abib. For in it you came out from Egypt, and they shall not appear before Me empty.
Deuteronomy 16:16 Three times in a year shall all your males appear before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose: In the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in the Feast of Weeks and in the Feast of Tabernacles. And they shall not appear before Jehovah empty,
What is important to you the believer,hearing the stats of some sports teams,or hearing the WORD of GOD Almighty.
IF hearing the Word of GOD is important to you,then why not hear the Word of GOD from your own mouth as you speak what the Holy Spirit has revealed to you about the character,attitude,and personality of Messiah from within the Word of GOD which you have been studying.
Oh i forgot, there is no freedom within the 'church' you go to for you to share the Word of GOD.
What a pity,how far the 'church' has run away from the Word of GOD which they profess to believe.
