According to the verses above God's word says that one who borrows from another person becomes that person's slave. And that we must not owe anything to anyone except love.

Does that mean that if a Christian dies with an unpaid mortgage, a car loan, etc.., then he/she will die in disobedience?

Say you have a Christian couple who've both worked hard for a comfortable life, eg. nice home, car, money saved for their children's education, etc. They've planned, while serving God in ministry, to retire from their secular jobs to serve Him fulltime, after their children finish college and begin their own lives.
They were able to obtain most of their tangible assets by borrowing from a lender, due to their good credit and well paying jobs, of course expecting to pay these loans back within the minimum 10-30 years. Unfortunately there is an unexpected, fatal car accident that takes both the lives of the couple. Should the debt they left behind be considered "disobedience"?
I'm sorry for answering a question with a question, but that scenario came to my mind instantly after reading your post! I guess what I'm trying to say is that when The Lord calls us home, despite whatever may have been going on in our lives at that moment, it'll always be done in HIS perfect sometimes unexplainable, unquestioned time! The cares of this earth will no longer be an issue, including amongst many other things, the debts we may have left behind! Just my own heart thinking..........
I believe that the scripture references you've used, God put in place to help deter the over zealous, over-the-top borrowing people do, fully aware of their lack of means and inability to repay! In the case of "debt", it definitely does cause problems, and puts you under the influence and control of another person. I don't think it counts as "disobedience" or "sin", but it's definitely unwise and puts you in a compromised position. We could say that about many things, alcohol, unhealthy foods, employment, etc. I think it's definitely the degree to which you let those things control you that is the key. I can have much debt, and I can choose to take easy ways out, it could influence me to steal to pay off the debt, etc. I can also maintain my duties to God and pay it off in a respectable manner. If someone dies and they have debt, there are many mechanisms in play where the lender will get their assets back, and risk assessment is part of their process.
Obedience to God fits perfectly with the father/child relationship. A child who loves their father will obey him and try to honor him. It's not "working", it's "loving". However, if we simply "say" that you love God, and don't obey Him, then we're in trouble.

May i ask,when did Romans 13:8 become a commandment of GOD Almighty.
I believe you and others need to be more concerned about the so called pastors which hare teaching people they need to comply with Romans 13:1-7.
These so called pastors are saying people need to come under those having authority over them such as the government / gumment.
This section of Scripture says to voluntarily place yourself under that authority which will be doing you GOOD; Do you actually believe the U.S. government wants to do you,or anyone else good.

We are commanded to pay our taxes and to owe nothing to anyone. If you have an outstanding balance them you OWE something to someone and therefore in disobedience to God's command.

Notice in verse 4,The 'AUTHORITY' is to be doing a person GOOD not evil.
May i ask,have you any idea where you so called 'tax' payments are used for by the governments within this country,federal,state,and local authorities.
