Where is Yeshua / Jesus in the Old Covenant

Hello everyone:

In the Word of GOD Almighty,we find Yeshua within the New Covenant, but is Yeshua also in the Old Covenant,if so WHERE.

Here are a few New Covenant Scriptures that speak of Messiah being with GOD before anything had been created.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God.

Heb 1:6 And again, when He brought the First-born into the world, He said, "And let all the angels of God worship Him." MT-No Equiv

Heb 1:7 And as to the angels, He said, "Who makes His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire;" LXX-Psa. 103:4; MT-Psa. 104:4

Heb 1:8 but as to the Son, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, A scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your kingdom;

Heb 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; because of this God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness beside Your fellows." Psa. 45:6, 7

Heb 1:10 And, "You, Lord, at the beginning founded the earth, and the heavens are works of Your hands.

Here is an interesting verse from the Old Covenant which speaks of the Word of GOD being Jehovah.

Remember, when reading, studying and translating the Word of GOD from Hebrew and Greek into English the CONTEXT is always what is needed most.

Jer 18:5 And the Word of Jehovah was to me, saying,

Jer 18:6 O house of Israel, can I not do to you as this potter? says Jehovah. Behold, as the clay in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.

Jer 32:26 And the Word of Jehovah was to Jeremiah, saying,

Jer 32:27 Behold, I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?

Jer 32:28 So Jehovah says this: Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and he shall take it.

I hope everyone has fun with this.

Blessings

Right George.

The NAME of God: Elokim is PLURAL (the primary meaning of gods). Why one God is represented in Plural then?

Jews use the word Shema. But even plurality in the Godhead is recognized in this Jewish statement of faith, the Shema!

Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God (Elohim)- PLURAL!, the Lord is a Unity (Echad).

It is ONE of the BASIC concepts of our FAITH in the God of Israel!

Genesis 1:26: Then God (Elohim) said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness ..."

The use of the plural pronoun can also be seen In the following:

Genesis 3:22: Then the LORD God (YHVH Elohim) said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us''

Genesis 11:7: "Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language.''

Isaiah 6:8: Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?"

Why God is PLURAL? Because God said so!

In fact nouns and adjectives used in speaking of God are plural!

Consider some examples:

Ecclesiastes 12:1: Remember now your Creator ... (Literally: CREATORS.- )

Psalm 149:2: Let Israel rejoice in their Maker. (Literally: MAKERS.- )

Joshua 24:19: ... holy God ... (Literally: HOLY GODS. )

Isaiah 54:5: For your Maker is your husband. (Literally: MAKERS, HUSBANDS.)

So, here you can CLEARLY see that God said that He is PLURALITY!

Lets consider the Hebrew Scriptures now where you can see the term Elohim applied to two Personalities in the same verse. Psalm 45:6-7:

"Your throne, O God (Elohim), is forever and ever: A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God (Elohim), Your God (Elohim), has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions."

Two Gods? And One of them anointed another one? YES! NOTE, my dear brother, the first Elohim is being addressed and the second Elohim is the God of the first Elohim. Lol YES! This is what GOD told us?

So, God's God has anointed another God with the oil of gladness. Why? Do you remember? Ok. Read the context.

A second example is Hosea 1:7:

"Yet I will have mercy on the house of Judah, will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword or battle, by horses or horsemen."

The Speaker is Elohim who says He will have mercy on the house of Judah and will save them by YHVH , their Elohim .

So, Elohim Number ONE will save Israel by means of Elohim Number Two.

Not only is Elohim applied to Two Personalities in the same verse, but so is the very name of our God!

Another prophecy (Zechariah 2:8-9):

"For thus says the LORD of hosts: "He sent Me (the Son of God) after glory, to the nations which plunder you (Jews); for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me."

Again, we have one YHVH sending another YHVH to perform a specific task: to DEFEND Jews during the Third World War soon when Muslim states and Iran will attack Israel. We know who is this God. We call Him the Son of God. (Read about this coming war here: Zechariah 14, 12, 2).

....There are many such verses in the OT.

Hi Versavia:

Thank you for your response.

What i asked is where in the Old Covenant do we find Yeshua within the Word of GOD.

Elohim is also used for magistrates, leaders of people and a variety of people not just GOD Almighty.

There are other elohim, but only ONE YHWH .

Seen a great video explaining the relationship between The father, son and holy spirit. Thought I cannot post links I can try to explain it.

Some try to refer to the trinity using the states of matter method but this is a false examination as water cannot be present when it is ice or water vapor.

Though we do see all 3 present during the baptism with John.

When Jesus was in the water, a voice echo'd out and said "This is my beloved son and whom I am well pleased". It was then that the Holy Spirit descended down like a dove.

This means that all 3 are present at the same time.

All 3 are God, but Jesus is not the Father or the Holy Spirit.

The Father is not the Holy Spirit or Jesus.

The Holy Spirit is not the Father or Jesus.

Hurts your brain when you try to understand it but then we would be like God if we could fully understand it right?

Hi gamer:

Thank you for your answer, though i ask where in the OLD COVENANT will we find Yesuha.

Most people will not venture into the Old Covenant as their understanding of GOD Almighty in the Old Covenant is a GOD of anger, murder, and hatred, asking Israel to wipe out entire nations of people.

Had the people even looked into the Old Covenant they would find GOD Almighty loving,kind,merciful,Omnipotent,Omniscient,and Omnipresent;

Just look at the cross.

Blessings

There really isn't a old or new testament. Just thee testament.

For from early Genesis do you see early shadowpictures of the stuff that would happen on the cross.

The old testament (for sake of argument) leads to to the cross and the new testament points back at the cross.

Cool little thing a lot of people don't know.

When you look at the story of Moses after the exile from Egypt, when they camp out look at how it is worded.

Draw out how it is worded and you may be surprised as to what you will find :)

Hi gamer:

Could you possibly give a few Biblical examples where Messiah is in the Old Covenant,as your answer does not contain even one verse of Scripture.
