Epiphanius, the fourth century historian writes in his Parnarion, that the Natzari, the first believers at Jerusalem were not Christians, and would not call themselves Christians, but "Nazoraeans.":

1,2 For this group did not name themselves Christians or with

Jesus' own name, but "Nazoraeans." (3) However, at that time all Christians were called Nazoraeans in the same way. They also came to be called "Jessaeans'' for a short while, before the disciples began to be called "Christians" at Antioch. (4) But they were called Jessaeans because of Jesse, I suppose, since David was descended from Jesse, but Mary from David's line. This was in fulfillment of sacred scripture, for in the Old Testament the Lord tells David, ''Of the fruit of thy belly shall I set upon thy throne. "

May it please Abba to show you the truth, and deliver you from the regurgitated religion of the pagan Constantine.

Acts 11:25-27 King James Version (KJV)

25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:

26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

Acts 11:25-27

Names of God Bible (NOG)

25 Then Barnabas left Antioch to go to the city of Tarsus to look for Saul.

26 After finding Saul, Barnabas brought him back to Antioch. Barnabas and Saul met with the church in Antioch for a whole year and taught a large group of people. The disciples were called Christians for the first time in the city of Antioch.

27 At that time some prophets came from Jerusalem to the city of Antioch.

May God Jesus save our "cult member" or punish him in hell and the Lake of Fire for his cult participation and disbelief if he does NOT want to believe and obey what the SON of God says. Amen.

"And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch."...?

Notice that this verse does not state, "the believers first called themselves Christians at Antioch"..

"they were called" (exonym)

If you will do some studying on the terms ENDONYM and EXONYM, you will learn how names are used by men.

An ENDONYM is a term which means a name which is known by those of a group to refer to themselves by.

An EXONYM is a term which is used as a name by those not of a group, to refer to them by.

It is written, "and the believers were first CALLED Christians at Antioch", because it is a proper title that was formed by the Devil's Seed to refer to them by. (exonym) It was a proper title, as was Cesarean and Herodian.

Christian is what the Devil's Seed took to calling the saints. This is why we see Peter writing that we are not to be ashamed is we are called "a Christian":

"If any man be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the Spirit of God resteth upon you: on their part He is spoken evil of, but on your part He is glorified."...

"Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf."

I Peter 4:14, 16

No, we are not to be ashamed when men call us by the name of Christ, for they are not of us and know nothing about the faith of the sanctified (holy)..

Father, please PUNISH him for his heresies and destructive teaching if he does NOT want to obey the Creator of the universe Jesus and for false teaching as You are going to punish all false prophets and false teachers.

Amen.
