So I was having a conversation with someone on Easter about the resurrection and holidays and putting the events in the bible to the calender.

Well, went like this. That the holidays started as pagan holidays and that the Catholic / Christian churches named it to religion(as much as i dont want to use that word). And that Easter was started to celebrate the Goddess of Fertility or something along that line for the land. Also, this conversation involved, about how the crucifixation if translated to our calend would be on a saturday (sabbath) so that would make the resurrection on a monday or tuesday.

I don't remember everything about this conversation as it was on Easter but it was like a 30 minute talk. The person I was talking to did some research on this and the translations from the calender to our calender that we use today.

What does everyone else think? Agree or disagree?

There is a detailed presentation of the info that you are referring to about 15 posts down on the next page called

"By What Authority Do Christians Ignore Passover to Celebrate Ishtar".

As far as your question of "What do people think about it"..

I think that for the most part, most people prefer to ignore the truth of the whole issue, in favor of going with the flow of their beloved & established church traditions...

Because to face the truth would mean that they would have to face the fact that their churches who are teaching them the lies about the easter traditions are a part of the "apostate" churches of the end days.

I Say, Christ was Clearly Crucified on Wednesday & put in the grave right before sunset on Wednesday...& was raised 72 hours later on Saturday Night...No such thing as a resurrection sunday...And no authority to change the Holy Sabbath to Sunday..except by the false authority of the apostate catholic church.

Thankyou for bringing the subject up again...

May YHWH Bless You:prayingm:

Yea...I do agree that people I think do tend to follow what the church teaches and what was come with and put into practice by the church.
