That is good that you have so many questions and you are looking for answers. The Holy Spirit is teaching every Christian and preserving him. However, we all make mistakes/errors in our understanding of what God says, that is why we need to find a Church with a sound teaching to avoid misconceptions and be safe because there are many false teachings/heresies which lead Christians to hell like those who spread these heresies. My Church is here (www.harvest.org). I do not agree with what my pastor teaches but I am able to compare what he says with the Bible and follow the Holy Bible and not him. I even corrected him a few times?.
So, let me answer to your questions:
The first two chapters of Matthew are added according to this scholarly publication. That is the reason there are several major differences between Luke and Matthew. Matthew was altered by someone wanting to misdirect those who read it.
Why we should not care what unbelievers say in any publications? Because they do NOT accept what the Holy Spirit says. But what we know: The HOLY Bible was inspired by God...the God-breathed. God says that through people.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness?2 Timothy 3:16
So, God is ABLE to preserve His words and He does it and did it. This is His job. Our job is to implement what He said.
There are no differences in Gospels but they are different witnesses accounts about the same events from different perspectives. If I witness and inform about anything then my description should not be the same like another person says, witnesses. Different witnesses accounts describe the same events from different perspectives by different people...adding to each other to make up the initial picture of the event.
The HOLY Scripture is HOLY and God is responsible for preserving it. Jesus even confirmed that nothing could be changed in this Scripture. And He WARNED us if we will change anything (even in our speculations/doctrines) then God is going to hold us accountable for that. Such people will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. That is why our responsibility is to stick to the Truth described in the Holy Bible and implement it. If we do NOT like our Bible translations into our native languages, we always can open the Tanakh and read it in the ORIGINAL language-> Hebrew and analyze any word which we do not like or question and then we can choose the RIGHT translation of the Bible which is closer to the ORIGINAL language Hebrew.
That is where Yahshua was 'born of the Virgin Spirit of Yahweh', at baptism.
Brother, please do NOT forget that our speculations are just speculations and the words of God are HOLY and they are the law for us. Thus, if we disagree with what God said in the Holy Scripture, then we have to agree with Him. There is NO other option for us.
Let me remind you that the Tanakh/the Torah CLEARLY said MANY times that the Son of God (the WORD of God) is God! God is a Supreme Being. Thus, this Supreme Being could NOT be born at baptism in water but He EXISTED always with God and EVEYTHING was created by Him-> the SON of God.
He (the SON of GOD) was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him (the SON of GOD, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
The Son of God is the CREATOR of the universe and people. Flesh of Jesus was born on our planet but as we know God is Spirit i.e. Spiritual Being and He ?the SON of God- existed always with His Father before the Genesis?and before He created everything in our universe. So, your speculation is WRONG and not biblical. Let me to remind you: if we disagree with what God said in the Holy Scripture, then we have to agree with Him. There is NO other option for us. Just throw away your speculations out of your beautiful head and accept the TRUTH of God what He shared with us in His HOLY Scripture!
Why are those that are of "anti-messiah" said to DENY he came in the flesh? That flesh, blood, and nature (fallen nature) of Abraham's seed.
If you do NOT accept the CREATOR of the universe the SON of God became flesh and was INCARNATED in this flesh then you are an unbeliever and you have to be a believer yet!
John 1: 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Why does Paul tell us Messiah's flesh was of "sinful flesh"?
"God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh" Rom. 8:3
Some scream out "likeness", but the text screams out "SINFUL". How many types of sinful flesh are there if he isn't talking of the type Abraham had?
Let's read the answer to this question:
The Humbled and Exalted Christ
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2
What do we see here? The SON of God is GOD in the FORM of God. He is EQUAL to God. He was incarnated in flesh to live among us sinful men. But He was HOLY. He was sinful because God is unable to sin!
2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake he (God) made him (the SON of God) to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
There are many other verses confirming that the Son of God was sinless!
Why does Hebrews declare...
Heb 7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
... if Yahshua did not atone for his sins, (sins before he was converted at baptism), by the rod of men (as the prophet predicted would happen 2 Sam. 7:14) when they beat him with stripes before he died for our sins upon the tree. THAT is what he did ONCE ... like they did daily, sacrifice first for his own sins, and then the people?
The Son of God is God and He is sinless. That is why your speculation is WRONG again and He was NOT converted at baptism. The Son of God atoned us ONLY upon His Death on the Cross according to the ancient prophecy in Isaiah 53! He died one to atone us and impute us His RIGHTEOUSNESS to make us HOLY in God?s eyes if we believe in the SON of GOD.
The commonly taught virgin birth denies the flesh the Messiah had, and replaces it with something else, supernatural from birth. "Supernatural" to the point it is a different being then what the prophets promised, and what the apostles declared. It denies Messiah came in THE FLESH ABRAHAM's SEED HAVE ... like anti-messiah teachings.
No, my dear friend, the Son of God was born in human flesh. His mother was JUST a righteous woman. But He was SUPERNATURAL because His Father is another Supernatural Being (an Alien if you will) called as GOD! The Son of God is the WORD of His Father. The same divine nature and origin!
Why is Joseph said to be Yahshua's parent in at least 7 passages? How could the seed of David be continued through someone other than someone of the lineage of David? Why even mention Joseph if he is not his physical DNA provider?
The New Testament Jews knew the title "Son of David" as another title for the Messiah. But do not forget that Joseph is called the "son of David" too in Matthew 1:20. That means that he was a direct descendant of David! Moreover, Jesus is the "son of David" through Mary too (the genealogical line of Luke 3)!
Without holiness you'll not see Yahweh. Satan knows that too, and he provides alternative messiahs as well.
The SON of God imputes us His HOLINESS if we REPENT of all our sins and confess them to God in a prayer exercising our FAITH in HIS DIVINE Nature because He is our CREATOR! He is GOD!
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness?2 Timothy 3:16 Is not a reference to the New Testament since the New Testament was not written at the time this letter was written. The New Testament is not Scripture. Only the Old Testament is Scripture.
I agree with most of what you are saying here. I'd like to know to whom and to what you are responding. I do have some issue with a fewtthings in this post. I can't tell if they are what you are saying or if they are quotes you are responding to.
"There are no differences in Gospels but they are different witnesses accounts about the same events from different perspectives."
This is not true. John in particular is very different from the other three Gospels. There are differences in the Gospels.
"And He WARNED us if we will change anything (even in our speculations/doctrines) then God is going to hold us accountable for that. Such people will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. " Please provide something from the Bible to support this idea.
"Let me remind you that the Tanakh/the Torah CLEARLY said MANY times that the Son of God (the WORD of God) is God!" Son of God - Only mentioned once in Daniel 3:25, not many times. Word of God only four times but no mention that its the Son of God speaking or how the Word of God was spoken.
I believe Jesus was given the Christ Spirit before He was born and therefore was the Son of God. He received the blessing of His Father at His baptism and the confirmation of His calling to be a great teacher. He did not become the Christ at His baptism. Other than this I am not able to follow some of what you are saying because I don't know if you are quoting from another post or not.
My words: "And He WARNED us if we will change anything (even in our speculations/doctrines) then God is going to hold us accountable for that. Such people will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. "
You said: "Please provide something from the Bible to support this idea."
LOL Richard, pls give him your Bible references to support my statement. LOL
