I would like to share an experience I had during an ambulance run. For me, it was amazing!

The tones went off, telling us to go to the local Quik Stop for a man found unresponsive in his truck. When we arrived, he was slumped over, very sweaty, and absolutely unresponsive. I noticed a glucometer (machine used to measure sugar in the blood) and an apple pie. His radial pulse was very slow and very weak. We checked his blood sugar and it was 30mg/dl (normal ranges from 70-120). After getting him inside the ambulance, I started an IV and administered some D50 (liquid concentrated sugar).

Usually, when a patient is hypoglycemic (has low blood sugar) they are groggy and, possibly, combative when their sugar is brought back up. This patient was very alert. The first words that came out of his mouth were, I know things now I didnt know before. He said this several times. As we were on our way to the hospital, he told me that he had died and crossed over. I asked him what it was like, and he said, It was peacefull. I mentioned that that was very good for him and he told me hed always been a believer. I said, Well, youre not anymore! He gave me a very strange look, so I finished by saying, Youre a knower! Youre not a believer anymore because youre a knower! He smiled and agreed.

He ended up telling me that where he went was very peacefull and that the feeling of the Spirit was overwhelming. He also said that God told him that He had plans for him; a mission. My patient also told me to tell everyone about his experience, but to leave his name out of it because he didnt want anyone to think he had anything to do with it; it was all HIM.

It was wonderful to take part in this experience.

Thank you Lydia! It was awesome to witness it first hand! The man said he was going to go to church today and tell his story to his church. He thought God was going to reveal his mission to him today. I hope he did. Maybe the man will come back and give me an update! That'd be great!

He also told me that he'd had a pain in his chest since 1993 when he had open heart surgery, but his chest was pain free and he was going to have his cardiologist to do a heart catheter to prove that his heart was healed!! Isn't that great?!?!
