3/15/09 Pastor Joey's sermon: To Live As Christ

Matt 3:13-17, Gal 3:26, Gal 2:20, Col 2:12



We need to understand the Grace and Love of God and how He, ONLY He can change our lives.



*Matt 3:16-17 Jesus gets Baptised and is setting an example for us. God says that He is well pleased with Jesus, his Son.

*Gal 3:26 We are God's children thru faith in Jesus. God loves us as He loves Jesus. We must receive God's Grace.



*Col 2:12 We are buried with Jesus in Baptisim and raised with Him in New Life.

*Gal 2:20 We are crucified with Jesus and raised. When we live,Christ lives thru us. When we are baptised, we need to stay Wet in Jesus. God wants us to be swimming in the deep end of the pool with Him-not in the kiddie pool where it feels comfortable and is usually warmer. (we won't discuss why its warmer...you know why) Its also much easier to swim in the deep end with God.



**We Must Live Baptised**



1) We love God Supremely-totally live for Gods approval!!



2) Obedience to God-what Hes says DO!!



3) Live a life of Joy-don't be depressed!!



4) Remain in Him--John 14:4-5 Abide in Jesus and He abides in us.
