1~ The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
2~ Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.
3~ The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
4~ The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5~ Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
"How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked.
Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.
And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields it's fruit in its season, And its leaf does not wither, And in whatever he does, he prospers.
51:1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me.
4 Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight-- That You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge.
5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.
6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
9 Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
15 O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart-- These, O God, You will not despise.
18 Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, With burnt offering and whole burnt offering; Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.
Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not lack.
Psa 23:2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me to waters of rest;
Psa 23:3 He restores my soul; He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Psa 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Psa 23:5 You prepare a table for me before ones vexing me; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
Psa 23:6 Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah for as long as my days.
1~ The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2~ Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3~ There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4~ Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5~ Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6~ His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7~ The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8~ The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9~ The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10~ More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11~ Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12~ Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13~ Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14~ Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
