OK this is scripture that proves that we cant just live however we want as it says that people who fullfill te lusts of the flesh or walk in the flesh shall NOY INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD!!

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."

they wich do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God!!!

Do you think that someone who says they are saved, but does not manifest the fruit of the Holy Spirit is truly saved?

What if they talk a lot about G-d and the word, and sometimes display the fruit, but at other times seem evil?

I have read where christians can be influenced by demonic spirits, though not possessed by a demon.

Sinners "Saved" only by "Faith" in Jesus Christ.

Some call Romans a theology textbook for its thorough explanation of the Christian life. Paul begins by describing God's righteous anger against human Sin.

Romans Chapters 1-2. kjv

All who believe in Jesus, allowing us to present our bodies a living sacrifce, Holy , acceptable unto God. It is possible, with God's help, to be not overcome of evil, but to overcome evil with good. Rom. 12:21

shalome, it is a matter of the heart if your heart is right you may still mess uop paul expressed well when he said what I would I domt do and what I hat thats what I do, (somethimg like that) we have an inner war going on but if your heart is right you will be diiferent than you were before you got saved, people who seem evil sometimes and good otheres may be one of teo things are going on with them, one would be they are not really saved but have a form of godlieness which would be just religion as far as I can see , the other would be truly saved however they are really struggling with their inner war they feed the flesh more than they feed he spirit there for there flesh is bigger than thei spirit is! Doesnt mean they are not saved, now as far as demons go, well yes demons do influence christians it is called demon oprssion which is ifferent from possesion, and certainly it happens they are satans foot solilders and he will do whatever it takes togt someonme to give into him! So yes if fact it happens in church among churh family people who love each other, hey wont even realize demons or satan are influeneing them and they will stir up strife and stuff like that, as far as complete control though absolutly not

Thanks for your responses.

It makes sense that the person I am thinkting of is struggling and feeds the flesh. "The spirit is willing the flesh is weak"

I just would get confused how he could be nice for awhile and totally change and twist things around.

I guess looking back on my own christian walk, I used to be double minded, but as have grown more in the Lord, I like to believe I have become more conformed to His image.

It could be something demonic because I think it involves a split personality, but if someone does not recognize they have a problem and want to change then I don't think they will. I have tried to help numerous times.

shalome, the best thinmg we can do to help is pray pray pray, contrary to what some on here think God wants everyone to come to repentence, he knows they wont all come, but I think praye moves the hand of Gods!! so pray for him without judgement!scripture says we are to be harmless as doves wise as serpents to do well by him pray for him love him but never leav yourself open for him to hurt you or decieve you!
