What is to defend About Cessationism:

Why would anyonme say they are a Christ follower and then say the word of God is not true?



It is totally absurd to say of one that is supoosed to have the spirit of God inside them that any part of the bible is not the truth.



This statement deny's first and foremost the need of the Holy Spirit, even thought said it is better that he go away that he might send unto you another comforter.



This term deny's so many bible truth's:



First and foremost there is no gospel according to Cessationism.



Believers no longer need the power to be a witness unto Jesus.



Jesus is not the same yesterday, today and forever...



The word of God is a lie



The father has changed.



There is no longer a church



The word of God has passed away



The father has changed.



The redemption of mankind was a lie.



The church can no longer have any ministry gifts.



That Jesus is not the head of the church.





You could go on and on but it is as simple as this if there is one lie in the word of God, there is no god according to Cessationism
