"PEEjay argues with people over their postings in order to take the attention off of their subject, and onto his ramblings over faith."
This is EXACTLY what the case is with PJ. I discern that he truly knows little of the scripture, and lately has become like Donna and others on here, who have nothing to state about faith in God, on their own, and run around trying to appear spiritual [Sorry but it is true]..digging up stuff that is spiritually relevant, but provides no one with an insight as to who they are.
I just clicked off of a post by Donna, where she is posting some ancient author's work, AGAIN, and I was thinking "Why doesn't Donna write something original herself?" Doesn't she have any wondrous insights to share with others?
PJ is a master at obfuscation, and throwing the attention away from what is always a weak theological postion. This is what I have found after scanning over dozens of posts by PJ. I do not even look at his posts hardly. I saw one that was absurd on the Sovereignty of God, and how others view it, and he had one silly comment.. Is that all one has to say about such a MIGHTY SUBJECT??
This proves that he is merely trying to distract and appear as important..
I agree brother, there needs to be a hearty review of some of these obviously weak posts..
"George you would have to another holy spirit than the bible reveals,"
O WOW!
"You would have to have another holy spirit than the bible reveals"..?
This is PURE heresy.
First of all, there is not "another holy spirit", PERIOD!
Secondly, the bible reveals nothing, especially not the Holy Spirit; the Bible is just ink on paper, apart from the Anointing of the Spirit, Who oversees its imputation into the soul of a man.
It is the Holy Spirit which reveals the truth of the Word of God to a man, not the other way around.
"But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." [John 14:26]
It takes POWER of the Holy Spirit to illumine the Word of God; until that time comes, if it ever does, a man cannot comprehend it:
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." [I Cor 2:14]
"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." [I John 2:27]
