Why do people skirt around my sincere questions???

JAMES IN YOUR OPINION CAN YOU REJECT THE CALLING OF GOD??? WHEN HE CALLS A MAN CAN THAT MAN REJECT HIM???

this is my question only to understand what yall believe because you do not make it clear you repeat the same things over and over but they do not adress this lingering loose end If a man can reject Gods calling then that screws up everything James says becasue he says you are chosen from the begining and you cant do anything to lose your salvation, but what if the Lord calls then can you decide to reject him??

(FYI I know the answer to this I want James opinion)

I want him to admit this ludacris theory in black and white and clear enough that even I in my ignorance can understand

Please make your answer short and to the point as not to try and confuse me, remember I am not as so so smart as you are.. thank you Your Sisiter Elisha

also I would like the opinions of others on the matter Id love to hear what you all think

Typically the Calvinist will not answer questions, no more than they will respond to scripture, it is the normal practice.

@PJ I have noticed that , why is that? it seems if he does he is indirect, I just dont understand I truly just want to understand it I want it made plain, and that question I think is the key to the thing, if man can reject Gods calling them that means God will call someone other than the elect which means salvation is availible to anyone who is called and its then leaves the choice to us to either submit or reject the calling

JAMES IN YOUR OPINION CAN YOU REJECT THE CALLING OF GOD??? WHEN HE CALLS A MAN CAN THAT MAN REJECT HIM???

James replies:

NO. Jonah tried REAL HARD and how did that work out for him?

Here is WHY......

Everyone on this earth is BORN with a will enslaved to sin.

Not even one person would EVER repent and trust in Jesus because of this.

When the Holy Spirit makes a TOTALLY SPIRITUALLY DEAD person, and puts in a new heart, they then become spiritually alive and their eyes are opened.

That person has a new heart and a new will, and suddenly THEY WANT to repent and trust in Jesus.

I am not telling you anything new, or strange. Christians have believed what I just wrote throughout church history.

John 6:63-65 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64But there are some of you who do not believe." (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) 65And he said, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father."

Eze 36:26-27 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Elisha, you and I live in a time and place where the knowledge of the bible is very shallow. the Puritans and the Pilgrims who first came to American knew the Bible much better than the average Christian today.

In Christ,

James

@James, yes they have a new heart and a new will as do I but they still have flesh to battle with, so if they continualy give into their flesh then they will eventualy give up their salvation, but that wasnt really what I was saying I was not talking of a specific call to ministry as Jonah was a man of God he loved God he just didnt want to do that one thing,

I mean the call to repentence, the call to accept Jesus and submit to him, that call to the alter the spirit drawing you, I do see what you are saying James because I definatly fought the call on my life but at a certain time I couldnt really fight it anymore I just felt that I had to submit, but I could go back to my sin, sometimes I struggle with my flesh and I want to go and sin, I dont want to displease God but a woman like me has a hard time with her flesh (wink wink) I am not trying to be dirty I am just saying it is a struggle and I could see how in a moment of weekness I could back slide and then turn my back, I am never going to turn my back, but I can see how it could happen.. plus I have been taught at a very high standard of holyness and I have been taught that when you think you got it, thats when you better be careful because the enemy is waiting for you to feel comfortable so he can attack,... I do see your point but as I said in an older post I had a boyfriend before I got saved I rememeber trying to win him to Christ he was very hard hearted and he would not budge (HE WAS VERY PROUD) but I rememebr watching a show where a man was singing amazing grace on tv , and I could see his body jerking white knuckling holding back tears as the conviction fell on his heart I could sence the precence of the Holy Spirit all arund the house I could feel HIM he was dealing with this man, who did not submit
