What is all of this stuff with telling God what criteria, from age to looks, that you "want" in a mate?
I see some state that they want a potential mate, who lives close by, or "goodlooking" man, others want a certain size, still others want them fit some other criteria..
Do you really think that God is a genie just waiting for you to rub the lamp, so He can wait on your every wish?
And since you are wishing.. With all of the worldly nonsense that some of you are "wishing for", why don't you just go ahead and wish for him or her to have an island and $100BILLION in a bank account while you are at it?
What do you folks think? Do you think that people who profess to be walking by faith, and not by sight, should be giving the Lord a list for Him to fill out as though He was a genie?

4U2keep has an excellent profile, and something to add about men and the games they can play, if women were to go down that "slippery slope"..
First of all, obedience to scripture would be an excellent place to start, as most women appear to despise the Word of God' to hear most tell it, faith is just about the things we see, feel and touch; aka "sight", which is why faith is the opposite of these things..
"To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no LIGHT in them." [Isaiah 8:20]
So, the Lord, and Isaiah, both tell us that when someone has little of the Word in their mouth, that that is about the extent of the light in them as well.
Secondly, what we have here is the classic age old game of "Man is smarter than God, so why doesn't he/she just be god of their lives" Game.
Jeremiah wrote, under the anointing of the Spirit, "O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself, it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." [10:23]
But many do not care that the scripture states that life is so mysterious that they will not be able to figure it out.
Stating that one "wants" this or "that" does not sit well with the Father, Who alone does as He pleases, while the rest - whether they comprehend it or not - are subject to His perfect pleasure:
"He doeth His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth, and none can stay His hand or say to Him, 'What doest thou?' " [Daniel 4:35]
So, with that having been stated by the Lord, as counsel on where one should begin in regards to looking for a mate, they ought to take heed, that His thoughts are the exact opposite of theirs.
Man's nature always runs to the carnal, the temporal, the fleeting, evaporating vapor that cannot be leaned upon..
The only place where the true child can run, is the Pure Word of God..
1) If a man or woman does not utilize scripture, so that it is evident that it is their sole counsel in life, RUN...
2)If a man or woman does not seek to apply scripture, so that it is manifest in their lives, RUN...
3) If a man or woman does not respect the Father enough that His Word is illumined in them, RUN...
Makeup, jewelry, clothing, even artificially manipulated bodies, are not much to be trying to use as criteria, as to whether a man or woman is of the Lord, but evidence of a fallen nature, only pretending to be regenerated..

Yes, and I usually do. You have many on these Christian sites that are just dating people. And, some are So called ministers, evangelist and deacons. So many to not follow after Christ but weak in their flesh.
I''ve met these deceivers, however, I have the Holy Spirit and I can decern these devils in sheep clothes.
