Men seek to prey upon the weak, and my heart goes out to you, and I would hate to see you preyed upon, because you are innocent and naive.. I say that as a man with a heart to serve the Lord, and the word commands men of God to deal with the wodos and the orphans.. Please remove this word, and speak not of it, until the proper time.. To let someone know I am a widow is being honest. That is what I am. It does not make me weak nor naive. It lets folks know that I had a union that God blessed and was true until He called my husband home. To watch someone you love have the courage to face what life gave him to deal with and be able to stand proudly beside him while we both served our Lord was a beautiful experience. It was beautiful because we prayed together and did not miss an opportunity to tell each other that we loved them. If someone wants to prey on me because I am a widow, then I have to look at that person as someone who the Lord would look at as having a heart He could live in and love them through Him. I truly accept everyone for who they are and where they are in their life's journey toward grace. I figure with God as my protector, who can really harm me. There is nothing they can do to me that He can't fix. Post Reply

I like to get to know the real person if you don't mind." This woman "gets it". These men are preying upon women, they cannot help it, it is in their DNA, it is their nature. Men [not all men, but MOST men] always utilize whatever available perceivable knowledge is handy, as a tool which is then used to manipulate another. This is how men function. But, remember, not all men function in this "wisdom", which is not real wisdom at all, but illuminism, which is the dark art of "projecting and promoting knowledge, which is not true, as being true. A wise man, or woman, as demonstrated in 4U2keep's profile, will not seek to lay such knowledge, that may be construed and twisted, so as to gain an unfair advantage. You are free to use whatever knowledge to present yourselves to the world. I, in my post, where I advise the WIDOWS not to utilize the knowledge the knowledge of their widowhood, because it may most likely draw unwanted attention to you, meant only to offer wise counsel; and if I am appeared as being intrusive, or arrogant, it was not my intention.
