The name of your Judge
Posted : 19 Oct, 2011 10:10 AM
This is the HOLY law of God and according to this law you will be judged unless you will REPENT abandoning all your sins to live a HOLY life in love for God and people.
Who is the God who will judge us?
He is the Son of God and His name is Jesus.
Do you know what does the name of Jesus mean?
Lets listen to our brother Sazie Johnson:
Jesus is not mentioned in the Quran. Jesus in Hebrew means God is Salvation. Islam rejects such statement as to confer upon a human being. Therefore; the name given to Jesus in the Quran is Isa, which is the Arabic equivalent to Esau (Genesis 25:25). Aramaic and Arabic are sister languages. The correct Arabic name for Jesus would be Yesuwa which means God is Salvation. This is similar to Yeshuwa, which in its sister language (Aramaic) means God is Salvation.
Question: How can the Quran be certain of the identity of Jesus the Man who the Quran believes the Jews did not kill on the Cross when the Quran misrecognized and miss-named Jesus by calling Him Isa or Esau, the brother of Jacob in Genesis 25:25?
The Son of God is God. And He dwelt always of God. God told us about His divine nature in the Holy Scripture. The Son of God/Ibn Allah has hundreds of names and one of them is Jesus or Yeshuwa/Yeshua.
In the Holy Bible (Luke 1:31) an angel tells Mary to name her child Jesus.
And in Matthew 1:21 an angel tells Joseph (the husband of Mary) to name the child Jesus during Josephs first dream.
Why did God give the name Jesus (Yeshuwa/Yeshua) to a child?
The angel instructed Joseph: "you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins".
Here God clearly said that Jesus should save us from our sins. Thus, the name Jesus was not selected at random, but based on a Heavenly command.
Sazie Johnson said that the meaning of Jesus name is God is Salvation.
What do we see in Quran?
Islamic allah really misspelled the name Jesus. The translation of the name Jesus into Arabic is Yesuwa. But the Islamic allah did not know this name and the word Yesuwa has NEVER been used in Quran. You can meet only the word: Isa.
Funny? Yes.

What is Jesus' original name? The historically correct answer can only be that it is the name that He was given at His "naming ceremony" (Luke 2:21), the name by which He was called by His mother, His foster-father, His siblings and other relatives, His neighbors, His friends and His disciples during His life on earth. There is no disagreement about the fact that Jesus was not an Arab but a Jew who lived in Israel and was born into a family of pious Jews. He had without question a Hebrew name. His original (i.e. true) name is neither European nor Arabic. Note also that His name was not chosen by His parents, but He received His name based on God's direct command (Matthew 1:21, Luke 1:31) because the meaning of this name expresses the purpose for which He was born (Matthew 1:21).
Christ Born of Mary
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.
So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us.
Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS.(Matthew 1:18-25).
