3.1 Kings 10:7 ~ Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

4.Job 15:21 ~ A dreadful sound is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.

5.Job 36:11 ~ If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

6.Psalm 30:6 ~ And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

7.Psalm 35:27 ~ Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

8.Psalm 73:3 ~ For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

9.Psalm 118:25 ~ Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

10.Psalm 122:7 ~ Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

11.Proverbs 1:32 ~ For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

12.Ecclesiastes 7:14 ~ In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

13.Jeremiah 22:21 ~ I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.

14.Jeremiah 33:9 ~ And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

15.Lamentations 3:17 ~ And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity.

16.Zechariah 1:17 ~ Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

17.Zechariah 7:7 ~ Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

JESUS COMMANDS US TO "SELL OUR POSSESSIONS GIVE TO THE POOR AND YOU WILL HAVE TREASURES IN HEAVEN AND **THEN** COME FOLLOW ME!!"

In the old covenant God's commandments were only preached to Jews but in the New Covenant Jesus commands us to preach to every nation in the world teaching them to obey *EVERYTHING* He commanded and everything would also include all of the approximately 400 NT commandments also taught in Acts to Revelation {See 2 Timothy 3-16 to 4:2.}

There were 613 OT commandments and Jesus changed many of them including all of the strict Sabbath commands and all of the commands to stone someone for sinning {Jesus says that he who is without sin should cast the first stone} Jesus also eliminated all the strict Levitical dietary laws declaring that all foods are now clean. And Jesus also commanded us not to make any vows or oaths {Matt 5:33-37}on anything Just let your Yes be yes and your no, no.

Jesus also eliminated the eye for an eye laws and commanded us to always offer up the other cheek and to love {See Matt 5:38-48} our enemies. And of course Jesus eliminated all sacrifices and offerings for sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Jesus also eliminated the earthly rewards for faithful service and commanded us to sell our possessions and give to the poor and get *TREASURES IN HEAVEN* and **THEN** come follow Him.

Luke 12:33,34: Jesus says, Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted....For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.

Matthew 20:20-24: All these {Commandments} I have kept, the young man said. What do I still lack? Jesus answered, If you want to be perfect, go, sell tour possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. **THEN** come, follow Me. When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus says, It is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

Luke 6:20: Jesus says Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

2 Corinthians 6:4-10: As servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance, in troubles, hardships and distresses, in beatings, imprisonments; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love, in truthful speech and in the power of God; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; dying, and yet we live on; beaten and yet not killed; *POOR*, yet making many rich; *HAVING NOTHING*; and yet possessing everything.

I Timothy 6:5-10: There are men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain....If we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

I Timothy 2:9,10: I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.

The early saints followed these commands of Jesus and the NT Covenant:

Acts 2:44,45: "*ALL* the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need." Acts 4:32: "*ALL* the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had."

Revelation 22:12: Jesus says, "Behold, I am coming soon! My *REWARD* is *WITH ME*, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done!" {When He comes, not now}

2 Corinthians 5:9,10: "So we make it our goal to please Him..For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him {Not NOW} for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad!"

Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, For the Son of Man is going to come in His **FATHER'S GLORY WITH HIS ANGELS**{See Matt 24:30-31;25:31-40}, and **THEN** {Not with earthly rewards now} He will *REWARD* each person according to what he has done."

I Peter 1:13: Therefore, prepare your minds for *ACTION*, and set your hope *FULLY* on the grace to be given *YOU* when Jesus Christ is *REVEALED*.:applause::angel::peace:

The majority on this site are interpreters, in lieu of believers, the bible pattern. the bible was written to be believed as it was written and it is pertinent to be in context.

First things First Jude, you have to understand prosperity first, for one you implied that the old testament is not pertinent to a christian, correct me if I am wrong.

The blessing of God is to empower man to prosper in every area of life, prosperity is spiritual and once acted on by faith it is brought into the natural realm.

This topic is in reference to this site would misunderstood as a whole because of not understanding the topic of faith.

Eph 1:3 BlessedG2128 be theG3588 GodG2316 andG2532 FatherG3962 of ourG2257 LordG2962 JesusG2424 Christ,G5547 who hath blessedG2127 usG2248 withG1722 allG3956 spiritualG4152 blessingsG2129 inG1722 heavenlyG2032 places inG1722 Christ:G5547

Ga 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Prosperity covers every are of life upon the earth.

I have never said it any different, I was not two months old in the lord when I first anyone teach on prosperity and I had a fit of carnality much like you see on here all the time concerning that word of prosperity and the lord told me to sit down and get my bible and he would show me something, not hard to see it if one wants to know the truth.

The key is thristhing and HUNGERING AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND YOU WILL BE FILLED, THAT WORD RIGHTEOUSNESS IS GOD'S WAY OF DOING THINGS.

IF YOU REALLY WANT TO SEE PROSPERITY IN THE NEW TESTAMENT IT IS ALL IN THIS NAME RIGHT HERE JESUS, HE IS DEFINETLY IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.

Richard, sorry, but Jesus does not command us to go sell not one thing! You are so far off course in spiritually understanding the principles Jesus is speaking about in this passage.

This passage teaches us the commitment and seriousness of true fellowship and discipleship in Christ, but there is not one thing in this passage nor any passage you find when it comes to speaking about prosperity or money that teaches us or tell us, or commands us to go sell nothing a person possesses in order to be a Christian, or to follow Christ.

Jesus is teaching that we should not allow our possessions to prevent or block us from doing the works of the ministry, there is not one word AGAINST prosperity in the Bible, it speak about being over come with your wealth, and making it your god instead of making Christ the head and God of your life.

This can also be anything that come before God or Christ including your Jesus car or whatever that hinders us from giving our very best in service and putting eveything aside to follow Christ.

Jude here is one for oyu that you over looked: Beloved, I wish above all things that you propser(meaning in all things, find favor and blessings from God), and be in health, even a your sul prosperous (meaning in the spriitual things of God in wisdom, knowledge, and understaning of God's word)... Third John chapter 1

you've posted soem good biblical references...

What did they start with, oh i'll tell you nothing.

Look and see what they have now.

Richard,

How do you know that I don't preach my prosperity Gospel of Devilerance to those who make under $2.00 a day, and maybe its called the Gospel of Deliverance which is also the message of prosperity, that we have been told to go preach which is the Gospel of Jesus that brings deliverance to the poor and needy, and to lose them from the bondage of oppression, so that they might find what it is be in favor and receive blessings from God so that they might prosper in all things and be in good health and their souls also prosper spiritually in the things of God....

So what gospel are you preaching to those billions, that is bringing deliverance? Who are you to judge or condemn what I'm doing or who I should teach and preach to?... what I do is NOT FOR YOUR GLORY OR APPROVAL. You didn't call me to GO anywhere into ministry, nor was I ordained by you to GO in ministry, nor am I preaching and teaching YOUR gospel on the GO in ministry, but it was God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. You have need ot GO get you some business and business cards, cuz, you are dipping into God's and mine business, and I ain't got no business cards for ya... and I will get you out of my business in a quick hurry!

So you can't tell me what or when, or how, or who or where to GO or what to teach or who to preach the gospel to, nor can you tell me anything for that matter, nor have you given me the WORD that I should teach or preach. And I don't think God has made you His overseer over me as I go about doing His work, nor has He given you the word He has chosen for me to etahc or preach. You're in God's business..

Nor have I inquired of you to be my mentor, I have some very qulified scholarly teachers and mentors whom God has chosen as my overseers... and I don't recall your name on the list, so you need to back up... don't you think... and just make sure you are doing the works of the ministry God has called you to do effectively, and souls are being saved and changed:rolleyes:

Therefore for you to be presumptous... this also a SIN!

I was a missionary in Israel and only about 1% of the Jews are saved and most of them are poor and don't get the best jobs because they are Christians. And during the Great Tribulation the saved Jews will not be able to buy or sell anything{See Rev 13:16,17} so they will be extremely poor and their 2 Jewish Witnesses will be dressed in {The most expensive:rolleyes:} sackcloth!!

Revelation 11:3: "And I will give power to My two witnesses {Moses & Elijah}, and they will prophesy for 1260 days, **DRESSED IN SACKCLOTH**!!"

As I've said PJ, if you are prosperous, keep prospering whether your are prospering financially, mentally, emotionally, most of all psiritually... keep on doign what you;re doing a-[or have done to encoruage yourself in the Lord as being prosperous.

Agan, as I've said, its always those who are doing nothing and finding themsleves feeling empty and incomplete, who try to put down those who are doing something and have done something with their lives.

Its always those who have no joy or peace or happiness in their lives who try to put down and steal the joy of the Lord out of the lives of those who have the joy and are receiving much favor and many blessings from the Lord, and have even learned to be content with what they have, and continue to give God the praise and gory that things are as well as they are....

And now they try to make prosperity a sin of guilt and shame... and even God has done that:nahnah::laugh:...
