Admin	Are Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons Christian? CDFF thinks not. Posted : 4 Aug, 2011 09:46 AM Under the 'Advanced Search' thing you can specify which denomination you're looking for. Curiously, neither the Jehovah's Witnesses nor the LDS/Mormons are listed as options. Isn't available under 'Edit Profile and 'denomination' either. Not saying they are or aren't, but I'd think if we asked them they'd say they were. So the question occurs, what other denominations are excluded? Who decided to do so? Post Reply

They use their Watchtower magazine to study from during their "Kingdom Hall" meetings each week. It is brainwashing for sure. Post Reply

The Holy Bible teaches us that Jesus Christ's mother was Mary, His father on earth was Joseph, that He was born in Bethlehem and raised in Nazareth, and labored with Joseph as a carpenter. When he turned 30, He began a three-year ministry of teaching, blessing, and healing the people of the Holy Land. He also organized His Church and gave His apostles "power and authority" (Luke 9:1) to assist in His work. But what do we mean when we say He is the Savior of the world? The Redeemer? Each of these titles point to the truth that Jesus Christ is the only way by which we can return to live with our Heavenly Father. Jesus suffered and was crucified for the sins of the world, giving each of God�s children the gift of repentance and forgiveness. Only by His mercy and grace can anyone be saved. Posted : 4 Aug, 2011 11:52 AM Jeff, I think the best questions for you and the JW's and Mormons to answer are the following: 1. WHAT DOES BEING A CHRISTIAN MEAN? 2. WHAT IS THE CHRISTIANS BELIEFS BASED ON THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST? 3. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF BEING A CHRISTIAN? When a person can answer these questions wihtout doubt, then one will know IF he/she or thier religious denomination and beliefs makes them a Christian or not. Also, if a person does not know what it means that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, then this is the very first sign which would denote that the person is not a Christian. ella Post Reply

Posted : 4 Aug, 2011 11:58 AM BTW, JW's DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE BLOOD that Jesus hsed on the cross, nor His holy borth. The Bible says there shall have no other gods before me, but the Mormons believe and concern themselves with more of what Joseph Smith has to say, than what God has to say in His word about Jesus. Cults always have thier own book of what they called their hoy book or bible... most contradict what God has said in His HOLY WORD, THE BIBLE! Post Reply

Posted : 4 Aug, 2011 01:07 PM Jeff, what I posted has everything to do with the topic of this thread, and as I stated when a person can answer the questions I posted then you wil find your answer as to whether or not he./she is a Christian. As Jude points put this is a site that is privately own and they can make the chices as to who they would like to have on this site. Again, if a Jw or Mormoon can answer the questions I posted then maybe this will give you the answer you seek. The site's name is CHRITSIAN DATING... so answer the questions to see for yourself if these denominations are CHRISTIANS... other wise, you can alway contact the admn, and ask them and theyw ill tell you what they think and answer why to your question.:glow: Better still, check out the Mormon and JW's forums and see if Christian are welcome on their sites... MOst Christian sites don't encoruage other religions outside of Christianity, becasue of the cultic beliefs and denial of Jesus Christ. And the apostle Paul teaches us to seperate form such heretics, leaven bread... Post Reply
