Well James you need to take that up with the lord, it is his church, your concern should be are you in the church and by your continual confession you are not.

James replies:
You are wrong on your first point and a liar on your second point.
1. In the last part of Jude, we are told to "contend for the faith that was once and for all delivered to the saints."
Christians have always had to deal with heresy, and the FACT that Osteen preaches that if you follow his simple steps, that God will make you healthy, wealthy and happy, and that is NOT the Christian faith. The apostles all suffered, and there are PLENTY of verses that say that we will experience persecution and suffering just for living a Godly life.
So, Osteen is being called out by several well-known Christian theologian and pastors.
2. My "continual confession" on this group is that I am trusting in Christ alone for my salvation. I have repented from my sins, and trust completely in the blood and righteousness of Jesus and nothing else.
PhillipJohn, you are an annoyance on this board, and contribute next to nothing in the way of conversation, or edification of others on this board. You rarely back up anything you say with Scripture, and half the time people cannot even understand what you write. Go to www.monergism.com and just read articles and study the Bible and think for a couple of months.
It's in his Bible, unless he has translated his own version, but they only acknowledge certain parts. It's just that these prosperity preachers have a form of godliness but deny the truth thereof. Rarely, will you hear anything from the OT.They are not upholding the law, so are they preaching another gospel and another Jesus?
Yes James I realize I annoy Satan and I will continue to,
Now concerning your comment i understand faith real well, and by your mouth you do not, as for me being an annoyance, towards you it is nothing but love I encourage to com into right standing with the lord, and server yours ties with the reformers that refuse the faith.

You faith is always expressed in action that you do not believe, as in your response here, you just said it is not of the Gospel to be healthy, wealthy, and happy, did you not?
James what does Satan's persecution have to do with what the bible teaches on any subject.
Now show me when Jesus has changed as you proclaim, and when did his father change, oh yes when did the holy spirit change.
Actually, I'm glad that James stated the truth to PJ, because I agree. Usually, his responses are not worthy of a response, and should be ignored, but it becomes annoying. I don't know how long you have been on this forum category Arch, but from the time I have been here James always tried to respond to PJ speaking the truth in love. PJ would always respond with criticism, insults and accusations. I don't know why he doesn't take his own advice, because sometimes, though rarely, he does speak some truth. Jesus did get angry at the church and drove out the moneychangers, who made his house of worship a den of theives!
There is a time to stand for justice and righteousness.
