Hello everyone:
Genesis 2:1-3
I tried copying to paste this from biblos.com ITERLINEAR,but the word order does not paste from left to right, this pastes from top to bottom.
I have pasted the Word order from the English.
This is to be read from RIGHT TO LEFT.
I have also pasted 3 translations from English.
Notice the difference the English makes this Hebrew text sound.
When reading this,we see that YWHW did not rest from His work, but rather the Work of YHWH rested.
YWHW also did not Bless His work, rather His work BLESSED Him.
were completed the heavens and the earth and all
their hosts completed ĕlōhm /God day the seventh
his work which had done rested day the seventh
all his work which had done blessed ĕlōhm / God
day the seventh and sanctified because rested all his work
which had created ĕlōhm / God and made
KJV:
Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
The Literal Translation:
Gen 2:1 And the heavens and the earth were finished, and all their host.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God completed His work which He had made. And He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because He rested from all His work on it, which God had created to make.
Youngs Literal Translation:
Gen 2:1 And the heavens and the earth are completed, and all their host;
Gen 2:2 and God completeth by the seventh day His work which He hath made, and ceaseth by the seventh day from all His work which He hath made.
Gen 2:3 And God blesseth the seventh day, and sanctifieth it, for in it He hath ceased from all His work which God had prepared for making.
KV:
John 5:16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
The Literal Translation:
John 5:15 The man went away and told the Jews that Jesus is the One making him well.
John 5:16 And because of this, the Jews persecuted Jesus and lusted to kill Him, because He did these things on a sabbath.
John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work.
John 5:18 Because of this, therefore, the Jews lusted the more to kill Him, for not only did He break the sabbath, but also called God His own Father, making Himself equal to God.
Youngs Literal Translation:
John 5:16 and because of this were the Jews persecuting Jesus, and seeking to kill him, because these things he was doing on a sabbath.
John 5:17 And Jesus answered them, `My Father till now doth work, and I work;'
John 5:18 because of this, then, were the Jews seeking the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the sabbath, but he also called God his own Father, making himself equal to God.

This is what I"m usually going on about when people rely on non-Jewish interpretations of a Jewish text - it causes problems. This is from a proper Torah and clears up the confusion:
1. Now the heavens and the earth were completed and all their host.
2. And God completed on the seventh day His work that He did, and He abstained on the seventh day from all His work that He did.
3. And God blessed the seventh day and He hallowed it, for thereon He abstained from all His work that God created to do. - Bereshit 2
And the thing about Jews if we like to repeat ourselves:
8. Remember the Sabbath day to sanctify it.
9. Six days may you work and perform all your labor,
10. but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord, your God; you shall perform no labor, neither you, your son, your daughter, your manservant, your maidservant, your beast, nor your stranger who is in your cities.
11. For [in] six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it. - Shemot 20
