Posted : 23 Jul, 2011 04:38 PM Know a bit about Freemasonry, I think people's objection to it when calling it a cult has more to do with its inclusion of all faiths instead of proclaiming only one. The shooting/bombing suspect in Norway though, as more facts come to light, doesn't strike me as religiously motivated but politically. There's nothing in Christianity that'd lend itself to such an act, so while he was Christian, at this hour at least it seems unrelated to whatever his motive actually was. And certainly Freemasonry has nothing to do with it. Wanna go through the history books and pull out mass murderers and serial murderers to point your finger at groups that may have contributed to their acts, gonna be pointing at yourself much of the time. He certainly was not following the teachings of Jesus, the Prince of peace who commanded us to always offer up the other cheek and to love all of our enemies. The only weapon followers of Jesus may use is the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5: For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have Divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." Luke 6:27-30: Jesus commands, "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Posted : 24 Jul, 2011 11:09 AM This may not be relevant but it is interesting to note that Norway has become the most Anti-Jewish nation in Europe and that on the day before the massacre there was a huge rally at the Youth Camp which called for a complete international boycott of Israel and many large banners were present that cursed Israel. This was the message to the Youth Camp by AUF leader Pedersen and Norway's Foreign Minister Jonas Store to the Youth Camp on the day before the massacre. There is a passage in God's Word which says they who curse Israel will bring a curse on their own head. Post Reply
