"Most talk endlessly about a global order, with the Antichrist on the top of the food chain. Usually, we hear about this one world system, complete with mark of the beast technology, and invariably, it's presented as though the Beast (Revelation's title for the evil power) conquers everything. Contrary to the pop prophetic worldview sensationalized by the morons who put out Left Behind, and other pulp drivel of a similar nature, the last years of this age continue in conflict.
In his 11th chapter, the prophet Daniel tells us things boil down to two factions, the Northern and the Southern powers, demarcated on a geo-political basis. The Northern king, clearly associated with the Northern Command, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and the Group of 8 industrialized Northern democracies, is the aggressor."
"The North is opposed by the Southern power, which is now comprised of resource rich, Socialist and Islamic despots, yoked together through an intense aversion to the ways of the North. Although many are already entangled in the financial snarl generated by the North, The geo-political Southern nations (as opposed to the geographic South) detest the globalist economic tentacles of the North, as seen in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank.
With this base definition in hand, we recognize America as the "king of the North" described in the prophecy, and to a certain extent, the predictions also apply to whichever leader is presently in power. Thus Barack Obama looms large in Bible prophecy. "
"In the Old Testament timeline, the six Gentile world kingdoms of Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome ran into Jesus Christ -- the seventh:
"...in the days of these kings, shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed..." (Daniel 2:44)
Thus, the sixth kingdom, Saturn worshiping, pre-Christian Rome, collided with the Gospel of Jesus (the seventh kingdom), to produce the synthesis known as The Holy Roman Empire. This is, of course, the Dialectical formula of thesis versus antithesis equals synthesis.
The Holy Roman, as the eighth, began the count again as Imperial Spain, the British Commonwealth, Soviet Union, Third Reich, and America recapitulated the pattern with a Christian veneer. Thus, we expect to see America, as the sixth, collide with another manifestation of Christ as the seventh, to produce the Antichrist system as the eighth.

WHAT CITY BUILT ON 7 HILLS AND GREAT SEA PORT WILL BE THE HEADQUARTERS OF 666 DURING THE 1260-DAY GREAT TRIBULATION?? {666 is called the Beast 36 or 6X6 in the book of Revelation.
Revelation 13:5,7 The Beast {666} will exercise his authority for 42 {30-day} months {or 1260 days}And he will be given power to make war against the saints and conquer them. {See Dan 7:25}Rev 17:18: The *WOMAN you saw {In Revelation17:1-18} is the great *CITY that will rule over the kings of the earth.
Rev 17:3,5,6,8,9,12,13, 18: I saw a WOMAN sitting on a scarlet Beast {666} with 7 heads and 10 horns...The Beast, which you saw, once was {alive}, now is not {Alive in AD 96}, and will come out of the Abyss {Or Hell} and go to his destruction {See Rev 19:19,20} This title was written on her forehead �Mystery: Babylon the Great: Mother of Prostitutes and of the Abominations of the earth.� I saw that the WOMAN was drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus. Revelation 18:17-20,24 �Every sea captain, and all who travel by ship, the sailors, and all who earn their living from the sea, will stand far off. When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim, �Was there ever a city like this great city?� They will throw dust on their heads, and with weeping and mourning cry out: �Woe, Woe, O great CITY, where all who had ships on the sea became rich through her wealth! In one hour she has been brought to ruin! Rejoice over her, O heaven! Rejoice saints and apostles and prophets! God has judged her for the way she treated you....In her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been killed on the earth.�
Most Bible scholars believe that the book of First Peter was written shortly after the beginning of Nero�s Roman persecution of Christians in AD 64 because of I Peter 4:12,13 & 5:8,9. We know that Peter and his wife were living in Rome at this time. Peter was inspired to write in I Peter 5:13: �She {Peter�s wife} who is in *BABYLON* {Nickname for *ROME*!} sends you her greetings, and so does my son Mark.� Apparently some Christians including Peter were inspired to call ROME �BABYLON� after Nero�s terrible persecution of Christians starting in AD 64. This is very interesting since the evil city of the End-Times is called �BABYLON� 6 times in Revelation 14:8; 16:19; 17:5; 18:2,10,21.
All encyclopedias agree that Babylon was completely evacuated in 275 BC and completely destroyed by 141 BC. The Wikipedia encyclopedia states, "By 141 BC, when the Parthian Empire took over the region, Babylon was in complete desolation and obscurity." The only question that remains is: Was Babylon rebuilt so that there could be people living in Babylon around AD 65 when Peter wrote 1 Peter 5:13??? Which leads us to the promises of God in Jeremiah 50:1-3,13: This is the word the Lord spoke through Jeremiah concerning Babylon.."Babylon will be captured... A nation from the north will attack her and lay waste her land. No one will live in it; both men and animals will flee away!" Also read Jeremiah 52:52:61-64: And God ALWAYS keeps His promises. If you check out the latest Iraqi Tour Guides you will notice the following statement: "Today, Babylon lies COMPLETELY in ruins. A large and splendidly carved stone lion is all that remains of its former glories."
I was a missionary in Jerusalem and Jerusalem was never known as they city on 7 hills. It has always been known as the city on 6 mountains {Not Hills} as per Wikipedia {Jerusalem Mountains} which are {1} Mount Herzl {2} Mount ofOlives{3}MountZion{4}MountScopus{5}TempleMount{6}HarMenuchot.
�Babylon� {Nicknamed Rome by Peter} is a �GREAT SEAPORT� in Rev 18:17-19; JUST LIKE ROME and UNLIKE Babylon whose ruins are NOW 4 miles from the very shallow Euphrates River; and UNLIKE Jerusalem which is 2000 to 3000 feet above sea level and 35 miles from the Mediterranean Sea. Babylon is also completely FLAT whereas the End-Time "Babylon" will be a city built on 7 Hills JUST LIKE ROME!!� Rev 17:18: �The woman you saw {Rev 17:3--Who sits with the Beast with 7 heads} is the great *CITY* {Rome--nicknamed Babylon in I Peter 5:13--See Rev 17:5a} that will rule over the kings of the earth.� The headquarters of 666 will be destroyed about 2 weeks before the Last Day.{See Rev 16:10-16}

The mention of �seven hills� in conjunction with the Harlot Woman (Rev. 17:9) is often seen as an allusion to seven hills known to be associated with Rome:
The Rome view is also built upon the assumption that the seven hills of Revelation 17:9 identify the topography of the ancient city of Rome. Because literature of the ancient world contains dozens of references to the seven hills of Rome, the ancient city of Rome was universally known as the city of the seven hills. Thus, such a topographical reference would immediately suggest Rome in the minds of John�s original audience. This suggestion is especially true given the fact that the seven hills were the nucleus of the city on the left bank of the Tiber River and given the fact that an unusual festival called the septimontium received its name because of this topographical feature.
In addition, the notion that John�s audience would have understood the imagery of Revelation 17 as referring to the topography of Rome seems strengthened by the discovery of the Dea Roma Coin minted in A.D. 71 in Asia Minor. One side of the coin contains the portrait of the emperor. The reverse side of the coin depicts Rome, a Roman pagan goddess, sitting on seven hills seated by the waters of the Tiber River. There are obvious similarities between the Dea Roma Coin and the imagery of Revelation 17. In both cases, the goddess and the harlot are seated on seven hills and are seated either on or by the waters (Rev. 17:1). In addition, the name of the goddess was thought by many Romans to be Amor, which is Roma spelled backwards. Amor was the goddess of love and sexuality.
Thus, both the woman on the coin and the woman in Revelation 17 represent harlotry (Rev. 17:5). Furthermore, the coin equates Roma with the power of the Roman Empire, which was active in persecuting Christians of John�s day. The placement of Vespasian on one side of the coin and Roma on the other makes this connection. . . . The goddess is also pictured as holding a sword, which may depict Rome�s imperial power. This imagery parallels with the woman in Revelation 17 who is said to be drunk with the blood of the saints (Rev. 17:6). [9]

The above interpretations are completely ridiculous. I have never heard of the ridiculous assertion that the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse will be Britain, Russia, Germany and America. Most honest interpretors of Revelation believe that there will be an anti-christ {666} who will rule the world for 42 months as per Revelation 13:5-8 and a False Prophet who will appoint 10 kings over the 10 most powerful nations of the world {See Rev 17:12-14} and will rule from their headquarters in Rome the evil city on 7 hills and great seaport called Babylon by Peter in I Peter 5:13.
WHAT CAN SAINTS EXPECT IN THE FIRST WEEK OF THE 1260-DAY GREAT TRIBULATION??
According to Revelation 13:5,7,8: The Beast {666} will have authority over **EVERY** tribe people nation and language in the world for 42 {30-day} months {1260 days} and everyone whose name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life will worship 666. 666 is called �THE BEAST� 36 {6x6} times in the book of Revelation.
Question: How will the Beast {666} and His False Prophet gain control of every nation of the world in the first week of the 1260-day Tribulation?? According to Daniel 7:24b a Roman King will subdue 3 kings. Rev 6:8; �There before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, {666} and Hades {The False prophet who will cause people to go to hell or hades with the mark of 666} was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
NOTE: China, India and Russia are 3 kingdoms that make up a fourth of the earth!
Rev 13:4: Men worshiped the dragon {Satan} because he had given authority to the Beast {666} and they also worshiped the beast and asked, �Who is like the Beast? Who can make war against him?�
Immediately after miraculously conquering 3 kingdoms or one fourth of the earth 666 will appoint 10 kings who had never before ruled over the 10 most powerful kingdoms of the earth.
Rev 17:12-14: The 10 horns you saw {On 666} are 10 kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will give their authority as kings along with the Beast {666}. They have one purpose and will give their authority to the Beast {666}. They will make war against the Lamb but the Lamb will overcome them {On the Last Day} because He is King of kings and Lord of lords.� {See Rev 19:20,21}
The following 10 powerful nations have OVER 50% OF THE WORLD'S POPULATION and ABOUT 70% OF THE WORLD'S MILITARY POWER and certainly have the military, political and �religious� power to control and rule all the nations of the world: #1. United States #2.� Russia #3. China {1.3 Billion} #4. Great Britain #5. France #6. India {1.1 Billion} #7. Germany #8. Japan #9. Brazil #10. Egypt. Brazil borders every nation in South America except for Chile. Egypt is the university, intellectual and theological center of Islam. And then 666 will have �authority over every tribe, people, language and nation� as per Rev 13:7b, from his headquarters in the evil city on 7 hills or Rome. The idea that 666 will choose a European Union of 10 nations with about 5 % of the world's population and about 10 % of the world's military power to control the world just because these nations are close to Rome is just an idea which is not supported by God's Word.
Revelation 13:14-17: �He {The False Prophet-Obama??} will deceive the inhabitants of the earth. He will order them to set up an image in honor of the Beast {666} who was wounded by the sword {On June 9th AD 68} and yet lived {Nero Caesar?}. He will have power to give breath to the image of the first Beast {666}, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.�
�He also forced everyone... to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast {NERO CAESAR?} or the number of his name 666!�
Since these 2 world-wide laws: To worship the statue of 666 {Possibly on TV} or be killed; and not being able to buy or sell anything; there will be a huge falling away among most of the people who claim to be Christians but are not the called, the chosen and the faithful. Moses and Elijah will begin their 1260-day testimony {Rev 11:3} 3 1/2 days before the coming of 666 & the 1260-day Great Tribulation and 1263 1/2 days before the Last Day. {***THE FIRST END-TIME EVENT***} Moses and Elijah will warn us of the coming of 666 & his False Prophet. �
In Matthew 24:3,9-13:� The disciples asked Jesus, �What will be the sign of your Coming and the end of the age?? Jesus answered�.. {During the 1260-day Great Tribulation} �Then *YOU* will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and *YOU will be hated by all nations **BECAUSE OF ME**.� At that time many will turn away from the Faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of *MOST will grow cold, but he {The Called, Chosen & Faithful} who stands firm to the **END** will be saved.� Rev 2:10: Jesus says, �Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the Crown of Life!�
God will miraculously take care of His Faithful and Courageous Tribulation Saints {Just as he took care of the Israelites for 40 years in the Wilderness} even though they won�t be able to buy or sell anything as per Rev 13:17a. {See Matthew 6:25-34 where storing up items are forbidden}� God's NT saints will go through the Great Tribulation without suffering the wrath of God, as did the OT saints in Egypt when God sent many horrific plagues on Egyptians because of Pharoah.
Jesus says, �You will be betrayed by your parents, brothers, children, relatives and friends and they will put some of you to death {See Rev 2:10}....They will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to churches and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account **OF MY NAME**. This will result in your being witnesses to them.� {See Mark13:9-12 & Luke 21:12,13,16}
��� Mark 13:11: �When you are brought to trial {DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION} do not worry about what to say, for it is not you speaking, but the *HOLY SPIRIT*.� This of course contradicts the ridiculous idea that the Holy Spirit will be removed from the saints during the Great Tribulation. Mark 13 is a Tribulation chapter. The only weapon we may use is the sword of the Spirit {Eph 6:17} which is the Word of God.
