THE SPIRITUAL GIFTING pneumatikos, Strongs Greek # 4152: The breath from one person to another person by one who is governed by the Spirit of God. Those capable of imparting the nature of God, which they have been filled with.
Let us take a look at THE GIFT OF GRACE: Herein called the spiritual gift, which can be imparted (Rom 1:11). Which impartation is by our breath (1 Thes 2:8 cf Jn 20:22). Within this testimony I mean to demonstrate that the power of the Spirit is not so much according to our spoken preaching, as much as it is according to that preaching that is without words. Note that there is far too much emphasis placed upon what we say, when we preach. The emphasis is herein placed upon the connection that is made between the preacher and the student. Paul desiring to impart more than the gospel [word], when he adds his breath (1Thess 2:8).
We cannot be established in the mutual faith without this impartation (Rom 1:12-11). This greeting [Strongs Greek # 78 from 4685] through the enfolding of our arms in an embrace, for the sharing of our breath: Literally to get close enough to draw a breath from someone (Col 4:14), is set forth 22 times in the 16th chapter of the Book of Romans: Paul adding in this context: Now I am pleading with you to mark those who are the cause of any division or offense against this doctrine of Christ, which doctrine would have us in this greeting of one another with holy kisses (Rom 16:17-16).
For those who are against this cannot serve our Lord Jesus Christ: And these are nothing more than deceivers (16:17-16). Question is are you wise enough to be obedient to this good thing, which is not evil? (16:19); Wherein is THE PREACHING [same word;- 782]: Literally the receiving of these kisses of Jesus Christ for the revelation of the mystery. Without this breathing of those who have the holy kisses, which are in the power of God, all of this [mystery] is a well kept secret (16:25). Which mystery is THE COMMANDMENT WITH THE MANIFESTING
Of the only wise God through Jesus Christ (16:25-27, 10:20). Also translated as openly showing (Ac 10:40).
Herein we are in the wisdom of God, wherein those who shall not have an experience of God, dont want to know that by the foolishness of THIS PREACHING/BREATHING OUT WITHIN THESE KISSES, it pleases God to save those who believe (1Cor 1:21). I can have speech and then I can have this breathing: One of which is not with the words of mens wisdom; and the other is a demonstration of the power of the Spirit: There is speech with the wisdom of Gods words; and then there is preaching without words, which is nevertheless A DEMONSTRATION OF THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (2:4).
What other sign are you requiring, or what other wisdom are you seeking after?? (1:22). Note that in the wisdom of God in Christ and the power of God within this foolishness of God, this is wiser than mens wisdom: For in this weakness of God, He is still stronger than men (1:24-25). There are not many men who are called to be wise in this choosing of God (1:27-28). Only those who are mighty can be in this confounding of those who despise these things (1:28-27). This confounding is defined by the following statement: The flesh cannot glory in the presence of God (1:28). Meaning; we cannot be of Him in Christ Jesus outside of righteousness [by faith] in sanctification [by the Holy Spirit] in redemption [by God in Christ] (1:30).
Wherein we are to glory in the Lord (1:31). Faith cannot stand [in this righteousness of God] in the wisdom of men; but instead in the power of God, and in that demonstration of this power by the Holy Spirit (2:5-4). This has got nothing to do with having excellent speech or wisdom, but Jesus Christ crucified WITH this testimony of God (2:1-2). Im not into enticing speech, which is after mans wisdom; but having THIS demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit of God (2:4-5). I speak the wisdom of God WITH this mystery of Christ as the Lord of glory (2:7-8). Which glory we are to obtain according to my gospel (2Thes 2:14).
Wherein are the prepared things of God that need to be revealed unto us by His Spirit through those who speak about the wisdom of the deep things of God (1Cor 2:9-10, 7). No man can know these things of God, unless he has the Spirit of God (2:11). This is why you need to receive a spirit who knows the things of God in the Spirit of God (2:12). For there are those who speak as the Holy Spirit teaches: COMPARING SPIRITUAL THINGS WITH THE SPIRITUAL THING (2:13). Wherein we have need of spiritual discernment unto being spiritual (2:14-15).
This greeting with the holy kiss from women refreshes men in their spirit: Those who are within this holy salutation should be acknowledged (1Cor 16:18-20). This is how their love can be with us in Christ Jesus, so that we can love the Lord Jesus Christ (16:24, 22). Is this grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you? (16:23 cf. Gal 1:6). Within which any part [of the divine nature] that is lacking in you can be supplied to you (1Cor 16:17). Are you in subjection unto one of these helpers? (16:16). Remember in order for them to thus help you, they had to come to the throne of grace to obtain mercy to have this grace to help (Heb 4:16).
Note that these are addicted to the ministry of the saints (1Cor 16:15). Heart-unity and love-breathing as brotherly affection (2Thes 2:8; Rom 1:11).[The History of the Church of Scotland, by the Rev. W.M. Hetherington. Page 700]: The Moderate party [of the Church of Scotland] was displeased that Rowland Hill had been permitted to preach. And this because the Act of 1799 prohibited this ministerial communion. For protestant churches had rejected this communion of the saints, because they had disclaimed its all-pervading heart-unity, and love-breathing brotherly affection, which needed to be infused into all true members of the faith by the presence and energy of the Holy Spirit.
Those who are of the good comfort within the life of peace and the love of God greet one another with the holy kiss (2Cor 13:11-12); AND THIS so that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in the love of God by the communion of the Holy Spirit might be with us (13:14). Nothing can be done against this truth that is for our perfection (13:8-9); Wherein we are said to be living by the power of God (13:4). This is the proof that Christ is in us (13:3). Are you drawing breath from the saints in Christ Jesus? (Phil 4:21); And this so that you could be said to be in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (4:23); Wherein God supplies all that you need, because you are in His riches, when you are in glory by Jesus Christ (4:19).
Inclusive to what this greeting means is its holy kiss (1Thes 5:26); And this again so that you could be said to be in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (5:28). Wherein the God of peace can sanctify us in spirit, and in soul, and in body (5:23). By this greeting it is said that you can know those who are over you, which you are to highly esteem in love for the sake of their work, so that there could be peace among yourselves (5:26, 12-13). Without this love in hope by faith, you are asleep in the night (5:8-7). Dont continue to be in darkness, when you to can be of light (5:4-5).
