I think the author is saying that Love between a man and a woman, is an extremely strong thing, and They can conquer many tough obstacles together and still love each other.

I agree with you James, and this also lets us know the difference between "true love" and the "lust of infatuation" many take as true love. But the lsut of infatuation is only fools love or fleshy lust, which parades its self around as true love, and this is why many get caught up in this fools love only to say, I love you, but I am no longer in love with you. I have fallen out of love with you. No one can fall out of love if its true love to start with, and they go on to other people caliming their are in love.

The passage is also a great example of God's love toward us its never ending or dying, as we see God's love for us throughout His word, and as Paul writes in Romans chapter 8: for I am persusded that neiher death, nor life, nor angels, nor principilities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall/will be able to separate us from the love of God whcih is found in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This love between the man and woman in Solomon is also the same kind of love Christ has for us, which cannot be destroyed, nor can it fade away when it get tired, or problems arises, and the man or woman feels a need to move on to greener pastures, even so, men or women who do such don't realize whatever greener pasture they move on to, they still have to mow the lawn or wash his dirty clothes after they get there:laugh:.

This kind of love Solomon speaks about between a man and woman in a relationship leads to marriage., this is true love. You can't fall out of true love...its stable, and takes a lickign and keeps on ticking no matter what happens in the relationshi:laugh:
