All who live Godly Lives will be Persecuted--2 Tim 3:12

God has always allowed His people to suffer tribulation and trials because they purify and perfect their faith and will gain countless eternal rewards when Jesus Christ is *REVEALED. There are over 40,000 saints martyred every year and the main culprit is no longer just Islam and the RC Church. Millions of saints were martyred by the Communist atheist countries after 1917 in Russia and after 1948 in China and then in North Korea and Vietnam. Many more millions were killed by Japan 1937-1945 and by the Fascists in Italy and Germany 1922-1945.
Romans 8:35-37: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?... For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us!
I Peter 2:20b,21: But if you suffer for doing good and endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow IN HIS STEPS.
I Peter 4:12,13: Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But **REJOICE**:applause: that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is *REVEALED!
Matthew 5:10-12 Jesus says, Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. **REJOICE**:applause: and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you!
2 Timothy 3:12: In fact, **EVERYONE** who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted!
Romans 5:3: But we rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Philippians 1:29: For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for Him!
Philippians 3:10: I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings!
Revelation 12:17: They overcame him {Satan} by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; for they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death!
Rev 2:10: Jesus says, Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the Crown of Life.
Matthew 24:3,9-13: The disciples asked Jesus, What will be the sign of your Coming and the end of the age?? Jesus answered.. {During the Great Tribulation} Then *YOU* will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and *YOU will be hated by all nations because of Me. At that time many will turn away from the Faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of *MOST* will grow cold,{THE GREAT APOSTASY} but he {The Called, Chosen & Faithful-Rev 17:14b} who stands firm to the End will be saved.
This will come as a tremendous shock for those who teach the Prosperity Gospel and who are mainly seeking earthly treasures rather than eternal Heavenly Rewards. They teach: If you accept Jesus as your Savior you have a free pass to Heaven and God forbid that you should suffer any persecution or go through the Great Tribulation; which fits in with the Prosperity Gospel doctrines which are designed to increase church membership at the expense of the Truth. When is the last time you heard a sermon on the virtues and courage of the many thousands of present-day martyrs in the?? And this is probably why there will be a great FALLING AWAY {THE GREAT APOSTASY} at the beginning of the Great Tribulation.

That is not what people teach it is what you say as you oppose the Gospel, can one know the gospel and they proclaim God as a respecter of person's and they openly deny man's redemption.

Mr 10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Here is a perfect example how those that deny the word of God, try and use the word of God to try and promote another gospel.
We knew the persecution comes to those that live for the gospel, financial prosperity and health are part of man's redemption, and this verse is just one that tell us as Jesus makes it clear the persecution comes because you live for the gospel, and satan uses those, as he did when Jesus was on the earth, that have a form of godliness but deny the power there of.

Bahira you just did what you said God has called you to point out, you are guilty of what you of accused others of. You proclaimed this to be a great post and it intended to be spoken of against the truth.
Now that is an example of sowing to the flesh, so you now tell us what the bible says about that.

Actually In Matthew 19:29 Jesus promises 100 times as much in heaven NOT on this earth. This statement took place right after His teaching to the rich man in Matthew19:20-24:
Matthew 19:20-24: The rich man said "All these {commandments} I have kept. What do I still lack?" Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. *THEN** come , follow Me." When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God!"
I John 2:15-17: Do not love the world or **ANYTHING** in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of the eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
James 4:3,4: "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God."
James 5:15 "Now listen you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you. Your wealth has rotted and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the Last Days...You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter."
I Timothy 2:9,10: "I want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, no with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God."
The Prosperity Gospel is truly the Gospel of Satan!!

Brothers,
The problem is not to have possessions but that possessions can have you! Do not be obsessed with them. Do not be a materialistic person. A materialist loves things and uses people. God teaches to love God and love people. The love of money is the root of all evil. Money is neutral. There is no evil in money. The problem is not in having them but in using them./ We need to use them to do good. Share with other what god have given us. God will bless a generous person. The love of money can be what you live for! But we have to live for God and people! The sons of God are teaching what God was teaching them and they said:
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1 Timothy 6:10

Let's see what God Word says about money and luxuries.
Matthew 6:24: Jesus says, "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money!"
I Timothy 2:9,10: "I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God."
I Timothy 6:6-10: "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."
2 Timothy 3:1,2: But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves and lovers of money."
Hebrews 13:5: Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
