Brothers,

what do you think about it:

In Isaiah 65:20 we are told that a child will be 100 years old.

From the 1599 Geneva Bible Notes:

65:20 There shall be no more from there an infant of days, nor an old man that hath (z) not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being (a) an hundred years old shall be accursed.

(z) Meaning, in this wonderful restoration of the Church there would be no weakness of youth, nor infirmities of age, but all would be fresh and flourishing: and this is accomplished in the heavenly Jerusalem, when all sins will cease, and the tears will be wiped away. (a) By which he shows that the infidels and unrepentant sinners have no part of this benediction.

The key to understanding Isaiah 65: 17-25 is verse 17 where it says "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind."

In verse 20 where Isaiah says "there shall no more thence and infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old: but the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed" he is not talking literally. This is metaphoric language - but not that hard to understand.

He is saying in the period after God creates new heavens and new earth - which can refer to the thousand year reign of Christ on earth of Revelation 20: 1-4 - God's people will not die young. As Paul says in I Corinthians 15: 53 "...this mortal must put on immortality."

Its not the restoration of the "church." Its the fulfillment of Israel born again in Jesus Christ. You can call it the saints in their immortal bodies, or the body of Christ in their immortal state. The 'church" is just an assembly which usually includes the wheat and the tares together. There will be no tares in the kingdom at this time.

In Isaiah 65: 20 the King James Version uses the old English word "thence." It does not take long to get used to a few old English words, and after that they are easily understood. "Thence" here means "from then," or "from that time." or "after that time."

Brother,

look:

in Isaiah 65: 17-25

God says about His plans to create the New Earth.

But God says from verse 18 about His Kingdom on earth!

Why?

Because in he Kingdom of Heaven/New Jerusalem/New Earth will will not die!!!!

There will be no death!

Angels do not die and we will be like angels in new bodies.

But here in this verse God says about earthly Kingdom of Jesus.

Why?

Because people will die. They will not live for 1,000 years. Only saints will live so long. TNote: the key word is: SHALL DIE.

20 No more shall an infant from there live but a few days,

Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days;

For the child shall die one hundred years old,

But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.

God clearly said that people there will die!!!

Is it possible? Yes.

I think:

People lived longer before and they will live longer again. Our forefather Adam lived 930 years, Noah lived 950 years, Ibrahim/Abraham 175 years, Moses 120 years. Why people will again live longer? Because they will observe the righteous reign of God Jesus to see who is His Father and to repent of their sins. Because their judgment Day is coming. There is no need to die because God of Life descended again to them not to kill but to save them. Look, even until their last day He is FAITHFUL to them trying long and suffering long to save them!!! He is God of LOVE!
