View Profile History	born into religion Posted : 9 Jun, 2011 12:44 PM Ah well, we're lucky that our 'religion' allows us to question it, come to our own conclusions, and then, take it or leave it. We could not "give" our lives to Jesus by our own free will if we never had that choice. (This is highly likely to re-open a previous debate!) As for muslims taking the religion of their father, I suppose that is more true than they realise. After all, man has inherited sin from Adam ever since the fall, passed down by every man since (hence I believe why it was important Jesus was conceived by the Spirit, not by the will of a man). Does that sound harsh? It doesn't improve if you read John 8:37-47. But on pain of death, they are not allowed to question their religion or prophet, so even with Jesus' own words on the matter, few have come from darkness to light... Post Reply

I believe most of the resposibility for this nonsensical thinking falls upon the Body of Christ, for not proclaiming the Real Gospel of Yeshua. Jer 23:18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it? Jer 23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. Jer 23:25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
