If one will look, God has created a order in things and respects that order which He has created. Does God have the power to forgive our sins with a snap of His finger?.... Sure He does, then why didn't He, why the horrible death and sacrifice of Jesus? .... Because God in staying true to His own Nature in being a "Just God" operates in the same order He has laid out for Men and Angels even though as the creator and owner of all He can do as He pleases ---- except He is such a awesomely Good and Just God!

The order of things is God first above all, then Angels then Man. There are Angels that have fallen, cast down to earth, however until judgement day they are still Angels, powerful celestial beings. So powerful in fact that they took the dominion of this world away from Man and it took God himself in the form of Jesus to come down and take dominion and authority back from them.

Satan operated within the order God created when he took dominion from Man, this is why he took it through trickery and seduction instead of by force.

Satan operated within the order God created when he took dominion from Man, this is why he took it through trickery and seduction instead of by force.

This is also why God took it back the way He did :

The wages of sin has always been death, Satan went after Jesus and instigated the death of Jesus on the cross who was without sin therefore should not of died. In doing this Satan and death was justly condemned. These are the two greatest enemies of man and they both use sin as a weapon to accomplish their purposes. So not only were Satan and death condemned for their wrong doing to the Son of God, but by Jesus forgiving all sin except unbelief He effectively disarmed them of their weapon of sin. However they are still here operating in seduction and trickery.

The point is Angels were created higher than Man to watch over Man, but some left their place seeking to be like gods or like God and became fallen Angels. Man was given the earth and the Angels were given Man to watch over. It took Jesus to put Satan in his place, for man to rebuke Satan goes against God's created order and is found nowhere in the Bible.

We are to Resist Satan using the Word of God and prayer, although he was created greater than us and we should respect that, he is not our master, nor do we have to obey him, if fact we are to stand firm against him. Jesus and His Angels are on the offensive we are to stand firm. If we are ever on the offensive it HAS to be by the leading of God meaning we are walking in the midst of Warrior Angels and Jesus Himself!

Two I don't agree with most of that.

Number one all of satan's angels are subject to the body of Christ.

Number two it is not necessary to go to the lord in any sense concerning Satan if it is dealing with you, you have already been instructed what to do.

Number three no angels are above men.

JN 11:1 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake.

11:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

11:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

11:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

11:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

This context is not about prayer and the word ask translate's to command or demand, and then Jesus will make sure it is done.

I know I've read scripture ( not sure what book) that says God created man a little lower than the angels.

PJ,

"Number two it is not necessary to go to the lord in any sense concerning Satan if it is dealing with you, you have already been instructed what to do."

So you depend on yourself?

"Number three no angels are above men."

Hebrews 2:9 "But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man."

Are you above Jesus?

Ps 8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Heb 2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Saved when you ask the question am I above Jesus, do you know what you did? Do you really.

There is nothing arrogant about me, but there is quite a bit of difference from than the average individual on this site.

Now did I say I am better than anybody else absolutely not, and never would I, but I have been a student of the word since 1985, and a doer of the word.

For me to post something I have not proved out in my life, would be absolutely irresponsible, and I Satan's lies because I know the one who made a show of him openly.

No arrogance just a typical believer.

e him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.

New Living Translation (2007)

Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor.

English Standard Version (2001)

Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.

New American Standard Bible (1995)

Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty!

GOD'S WORD Translation (1995)

You have made him a little lower than yourself. You have crowned him with glory and honor.

King James Bible

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

American King James Version

For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor.

American Standard Version

For thou hast made him but little lower than God, And crownest him with glory and honor.

Bible in Basic English

For you have made him only a little lower than the gods, crowning him with glory and honour.

Douay-Rheims Bible

Thou hast made him a little less than the angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honour:

Darby Bible Translation

Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and splendour.

English Revised Version

I believe where they translated the word elohim, to messenger or angel, it is a gross miss translation. Man is not lower than angels no more than Jesus is.

Apparently I didn't.

And your point is......? There are passages that state Jesus was made a little lower than the angels when He came to earth as a man. This puts man as a little lower than the angels. For you to exalt yourself higher than angels as a man, is to say you are above Jesus, who, as a man on earth, tasting death, was a little lower than the angels when He came to earth putting Himself alongside man. In Psalm 8:3-4, David asks," When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" He then goes on to say, "For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour." This is not only speaking of Christ, but of man.

Then according to your theology, Satan is above you, there is one passage that says what you say, now you prove it befroe you falsely accuse others, you just said Jesus is lower than angels, did you hear what you said?
