Greetings, fellow Christians! I would like to ask you to lift me in prayer. It's taking everything I have to hold back my flesh and not reply to her threads. But I will do what Mr. Meanie advised and stay away from her. God Bless You Guys ! Pray, Pray, Pray for me! Seems she lied and isn't going anywhere!! A man can only take so much! I Love Yall.
Chevy, what 'she' writes isn't worth what your flesh is wanting to reveal. What I find awful about this is that her posts are a temptation to your flesh, causing you to struggle with sin because of her words. The Bible has plenty to say about women like that.
Mr. Meanie had more advice,--- that was to pray for her.
Much of what she says in her posts is right on, however she seems to apply none of it to herself --- as if she is above it.
This might be a good way to pray for her that her conscience would be convicted by her own words.
It would probably be the most Loving thing to do because she certainly is not going to listen to the words of those she has judged as fake Christians, Hypocrites and worse than Muslims.
Just to help you understand her: It seems she haswhat I would call the 'Deborah Syndrome'. (I'll explain in another post after I check out some details)
In the mean time...
...Love ya Bro
.....Let's just both continue to Love Bahira where she is at.
Since she gets so worked up there is a temptation to taunt her just for fun, however that would not be the Manly or Christian thing to do.
Some women in the Church look for away to Biblically justify their actions by using two chapters in the Book of Judges that tell the story of Deborah while ignoring what the rest of the Bible says about their roles. Although Deborah was a righteous Judge this story is particularly attractive to some women because she is a "woman in charge". The Bible implies the men were not fulfilling their roles as protectors of Israel and when the Man she says God told her should do the fighting questions her, he is told because the way he went about it the glory that should of been his will belong to a woman.
One can see these how this story would be especially attractive to a woman that means to sit in judgement. These women feel they are only accountable to God and therefore are above men and angels and in their ignorance slander both. Some of the "spiritual warfare" could almost be classified as witchcraft.
God uses both Men and Women in the Church, however there is a type of Christian Feminism, a attitude that is easy to spot, it is called the Jezeabel spirit named after Ahabs wife who sought control and was successful until the day the stray dogs ate her body.
Now I am not saying Bahira has the spirit of Jezeabel, however it does seem she has set herself up as judge, which wouldn't be so bad if she judged herself by the same standard she judges others.
While I respect her desire to evangelize Muslims, Islam is a male dominated society. Therefore it would seem if she would follow God's instructions on how a Christian Woman should witness rather than arguing with male muslims like a man, God would further bless her work and she would be more effective. However she does put the Word of God out there and Gods Word doesn't return void. But sometimes I wonder if the way she does it puts Christians in a bad light.
We all know what God is teaching us in the Holy Bible:
Faith Without Works Is Dead.
But which works does God require us to have? Works of LOVE for people and God.
If you do not have evident fruit of love for people and God expressed in your good acts, it means that your faith is DEAD. It means you are not a Christian. It means that God considers you as an unbeliever/ sinner and He is going to judge you during the Judgment Day for your sins. Why? Because ONLY righteous people, holy people will enter the Holy dwelling place of God. Let me remind you: O foolish man, that faith without works is dead! Show us your FAITH which will exceed the faith of demons and unbelievers expressed in your works of love for people and God!
Faith Without Works Is Dead
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, Depart in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believeand tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. James 2
I am not even going to read her posts. Chevy, I love ya and you're always in my prayers. :)
I think we had some pretty good conversations going earlier today and I will not let her or anyone else ruin my learning experiences here. Also, I will not be intimidated.
May we please continue in fruitful fellowship and ignore the attempts to deviate or deteriorate?
Chevy, you are an awesome man of God. You will come through this stronger and wiser. She doesn't get to be your master. You have your master and He will have His way with her conscience.
Bahira there is truth in what you have said, but you have violated love and faith can not work, you have brought forth but it is of none affect because of the absense of love which makes what you are saying sin.
No I am not going to argue with you, you can honor God stirring up strife.
