The other day the lord was talking to me believers, and those that like to throw around the word interpretation.



The word of God is Thy Truth, it is absolute, unchanging, without any shadows, it is perfect never changing light, it is life.



To the believer it is truth as it is written one to meditate on it day and night until light comes, but a believer knows it is the truth none the less.



To the interpreter it is what he say is true!!



I recently heard of a book that just came out, The unbelieving believers, i believer could tell you how it reads without reading it, lol.

I hear you and agree 100%

However....

Unless you read Hebrew and Greek you are reading a interpretation and even then it was written 2 to 4 thousand years ago to a radically different culture than the western mindset has.

The Bible is a "Alive" writing breathed by God.

By "Alive" I mean it will speak different things to different people depending on the person reading it.

One might say the Bible is written in code and the Holy Spirit is the secret decoder ring.

Sure anyone can understand its history and appreciate its poetry however on spiritual matters it is foolishness or worse yet; truth that really isn't truth to one not being led by the Holy Spirit.

To say "I understand the Bible this way and everyone else is wrong" is crazy talk. Although many misunderstand the Bible completely it doesn't mean there is only one way. In fact I have read a verse that meant one thing to me, then atva later date meant something else.

The shortcoming concerning the Bible is not with the Bible it is with the mere human reading it!
