Hello everyone:

Mat 6:12 and forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors.

Since we are to be forgiving others as Yehsua had/has forgiven me/us.

What then does this forgiveness look like.

ps:

Could someone look up the

Perfect passive indicative ;for the following Scripture.

1Jn 2:12 Little children, I write to you because you have been forgiven your sins through His name.

( Have Been Forgiven) this is in the: Perfect passive indicative

I have to rest,i have work at midnight.

All has been done, all has been accomplished by the lord Jesus, but their is a way for all of his benefits to mankind to be apprehended by the recipient.

I realize that what I may say will surprise some. How does a non- christian learn about forgiveness?

By watching the believer pray to have their sins forgiven on a daily basis. You pray it to teach the unbeaver and the babe in Christ that is learning the word that they are forgiven once they come to christ.

Do you not remember when you were a new born in Christ?

Jesus prayed that prayer to teach us how to seek forgivness.

Yes, I believe that we need to ask for forgiveness on a regular basis to show that we still follow jesus.

I read your other post Mr. Meanie and the lords prayer one and wish to comment as I was gone a few days.

Another reason we should ask for forgiveness, even though it has already been granted, is that we need to humble ourselves to God.

Isn't Thanking God for forgiveness a act of humbling oneself before God?

Not only that, but it is a action rooted in truth!

Yes it is Two, but being the recipient requires man's appropriate response.

Notice a couple passage's concerning forgiveness:

1Jo 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

I do this all the time for those on this site for sin usually abounds especially about a week ago.

I can't remember the scripture at the moment but I believe Jesus said concerning forgiveness, if you would just say.
