For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Whta is this all about?

Door keeper = a unworthy servant of Jesus.

Tent of the wicked = Driving a new Mercedes, wearing tailored suits, decked out in expensive jewelry, living in multiple mansions, all purchased with money from sharing a different gospel to people who often cannot afford their next rent payment.

Two already answered your question, et, but will you be so kind as to list the Book and chapter that is in? I'd like to read more about it. Thanks.

The New Testament foretold of false teachers to come, if it is not some of these Televangelists then who are they? ... or is the Bible wrong?

@sparrow:

saprrow says:

Tent of the wicked=

POIC:

Here is the Word of GOD on this matter.

This should not be a surprize to you or anyone else.

Psa 84:9 Behold, O God, our shield; and look upon the face of Your anointed.

Psa 84:10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand; I have chosen to stand at the threshold in the house of my God rather than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Psa 84:11 For Jehovah God is a sun and shield; Jehovah will give grace and glory; He will withhold nothing good from those who walk in integrity.

Psa 84:12 O Jehovah of Hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You!

In verse 10

The tents are not wicked, but rather what is taking place inside the tents is 'WICKED'.

Tents of the wicked; You don't have to read this in Hebrew to see the tents belong to the wicked and what makes them wicked?......The wickedness of the owners.

I don't understand the question. Let me see if I can answer it though.

It's better to spend one day with God than a thousand days anywhere else. This is difficult to understand?

I'd rather be a door keeper for God's house than live in the tents of the wicked. OK, well the wicked are the ones that the world sees as having everything. Like Two said, wearing the fine clothes, driving luxury cars, (Forgive me Lord I have a Cadillac), flying around in private jets, having the best of everything and seeming to have a fantastic life,( but always at the expense of others.)

So even the lowest and most ingratiating position in the house of God is better than living like the wealthy with their seemingly good life.

Hey Thunder:

YHWH does not settle His accounts with man in this life.
