If man has free will, then how is the Bible the Word of God?

The following Question is for those who insist that Fallen mankind has a free will.

If man has a perfectly free will, then HOW is the Bible the Word of God?

God could not CAUSE man to write His Word, because THAT would be violating his free will.

How can you say that the Bible is inerrant in all that it teaches, if it was written by men with free will?

Man being born with a sinfilled nature cannot desire but that which please him/herself.

Man is a slave to sin from the womb until death.

Gen 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Jer 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Unless Yeshua sets a person free,they will be a slave to sin until death.

John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

John 8:35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Let to ourselves there would not be one man,woman or child who would trust Christ to protect them from the wrath of GOD.

Unless the Father draws,'NO MAN CAN COME'.

Is Christ lying when He says this.

I believe not.

Aloha

James, on this I strongly agree... if man has "free will' then God is not sovereign.

And for those who DO NOT know, if one is to say that God is Omnipresnt which means He is infinite in His being, everywhere at all times;

and that if God is Onmipotent, infinte in His power has all power in His hands to do as He pleases without getting permission from anyone, in total control over all people places and things in heaven and earth;

and if that God is Onminiscient infinte in His own wisdom, knowledge and understanding... then what shall we say to these things that man has free will? ... this would be a lie, because man does not have free will to even tie his own shoes without God's granting him strength to do so.

The greatest example of man's free will is your post. You prove your freedom to believe and say as you wish, it is not complicated.

Just a thought our best example of free will was Jesus himself.

But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." (2 Peter 1:20-21).

ET, only a truly Sovereign God can allow free will, a lesser god has to rely on a dictatorial style to accomplish his purposes.
